The game works, this is just a very bad port.
-Some text symbols will look like a square. -Other languages aren't well implemented, some text will be on the choosen language and other will be in english, also french and russian dialogue aren't dubbed on my language, but sometimes it's...I dunno it's weird, it's mostly this version fault.
This game is great, but if you want to play it the best way you probably need to get the gog version since the gold edition has alot of problems.

It worked out of the box to be enjoyably playable. Those mentioned glitches didn't effect the experience in any drastic manner.
- The video parts had a slight flutter. 2. The text had ' replaced by □
There was no tinkering actually involved as Proton Experimental was activated by default (as many have). The game was played from a separate shared account - so does not show as an owned game.
Game works out of the box with 6.3-7
Worked great
Some font glyphs replaced by squares
Game crashed while loading.
I made to solve the crackling problem by restarting PulseAudio.
It doesn't even start, if you try to use the latest (5.0) version. Besides, the punctuation signs appear as squares in some (tutorial) messages. But it doesn't affect the readability much.
Works almost flawlessly. Awesome game
On some of the text (mainly the chapter descriptions) punctuation is replaced by boxes. It does not really affect the experience.

Game runs perfectly. Punctuation in the tutorials (but not subtitles) shows up as boxes. Game is still fully playable in spite of this.

Everything seems to work except punctuation marks showing up as boxes.

Only notable issue was that the punctuation in the in-game text (e.g. periods, apostrophes, etc.) was rendered as boxes.
