Lowered the resolution. Performance is bad with Nouveau (the open source GPU driver for Nvidia) but the game can be played. Proprietary Nvidia driver would most likely bring adequate performance.

The Last Express Gold Edition
It worked out of the box to be enjoyably playable. Those mentioned glitches didn't effect the experience in any drastic manner.

There was no tinkering actually involved as Proton Experimental was activated by default (as many have). The game was played from a separate shared account - so does not show as an owned game.

Wonderful experience on Steam Deck. This game could just as well be Steam Deck ✅ (verified and not just "playable" as to date indicated).
