Varying slowdown... Some parts you're in slow motion from lag and some parts it runs super fast.
Only play if you have a fast machine
sometimes it loses connection and you have to restart the game but runs fine
Disable Steam Input to make X360 controller work
Very rarely there's a small graphical slowdown; It quickly syncs back up with the audio thereafter.
Sometimes it wants to be naughty and crashes on startup. After ~3 tries to open it gives up and starts fine.
I was able to play online both as host and guest. (Only tried soccer and campaign)
Had an issue in Regular Campaign where the gems/yarn weren't getting synced between us (at least not for me). So it often gave a rating of C or B.
Everything works pretty fine with Steam Linux Runtime compat tool
Cant get mouse out of the game window
Capping the fps at 40
I tried the cracked exec, as others said, but it runs a steam emulator which makes your user a dummy user. Another minor thing is It doesn't show the Spec-Ops leaderboards
The lighting is all messy and will get you locked in a part of the game
The Native release works smooth as butter without any bugs
Some levels cause huge lag when entering via the level selector
Some spots have (seemingly) particles overflowing which give a huge lag, also staying in one arena slowly makes the game increasingly laggier. Disabling particles helps but doesnt fix
Some challenges are awful with the increasing lag. Works decently for a casual playthrough but the lag is still noticeable in some bosses which kinda breaks the fun
Xbox 360 controller doesn't work
Enable Steam Linux Runtime compat tool to fix this.
Fullscreen has weird resolution. Needed to enable Windowed in the launcher, then it adjusts automatically to any custom resolution
Runs very fine with only a bit of lag
Enabling fullscreen on Proton makes the game scale down to a weird resolution
Steam Cloud doesn't work on Native, but with Proton it works
Stuttering and input delay on Native version but it runs fine with only a bit of lag forcing proton 6.3
It didn't import my configurations from windows. Xbox 360 controller works fine.
If it runs on my computer it probably will run on yours ;)
Proton: 100 fps; Native: 120 fps (Main Menu)
Steam Cloud is pretty buggy especially if you're doing heavy modding or OS hopping, so make backups or disable Steam Cloud to prevent having a bad time
Native has issues with input lag of more than 5 seconds, without the input lag Native would be perfect. Switching to Proton it works absolutely fine.
Controller works fine with Steam Input. Modding works all fine.
Enable Steam Linux Runtime compat tool
Totally borked with ALSA. Totally working with PulseAudio.
Fix: Use Steam Linux Runtime, or start a provisory pulseaudio daemon for the game
Scales down to windowed 640px when unfocusing the window
Fix: Force enable fullscreen with the window manager
Some maps are pretty laggy in certain areas.
A lot of lag spikes. Couldn't open anything else or it would lag like hell.
Some maps, like nmo_anxiety, crashed about 6 times at random times, which is very frustrating. Some other maps run like butter.
Fun when things work. Not fun when it crashes in the middle of a long mission.
But if you can make through the issues it's not too bad.
Proton7 works fine. ProtonGE has borked audio.
Played through entire game. No issues.
