Works perfectly out of the box
Played the whole campagin incl. dlcs with a friend on Windows. Played some pvp multiplayer.

Gameplay is very smooth and can run on Ultra graphics if played on the native resolution (1280x800).
Don't try using touch-screen to turn the camera in-game.
(not sure about battery life seen as I played whilst charging most of the time but it seemed to be around 3 hours playtime if I handn't had it plugged in)
Works fine out of the box.

Disabled the back grip buttons as I have a bad habit of accidentally clicking them. By default, R5 fires your weapon just as R2 does.
TDP limit to 9w and GPU set to 1200.
A lot of in-game text is pretty hard to read at times. Additionally, the diamond marker in my crosshair is a bit small and the game demands you snipe enemies at times that are far enough away to where I found myself squinting and leaning in close to the screen just to see well enough to aim.
You could arguably play the game at max clock speeds and max settings, possibly even SSAA set to 2.25x to make the image extra crisp, and probably still hit between 40-60 fps most of the time. This game has been an absolute joy to play from nearly start to finish on the Steam Deck, if not for the ant-sized enemy snipers from far away.
Didn't launch
Ran pretty much out of the box with default Proton.
gamemoderun %command%
banger game
I played using a xbox controller and worked perfectly fine
Отлично работает
works perfect
sometimes the background in the main menu is not drawn
Works perfectly, havent tried multiplayer though
Works out of the box and works almost perfect.
There were some FPS drops until shader caches are done, especially in bullet cams.

runs between 10-15w at medium settings, so that's almost 4 hours of playtime when fully charged
Launch menu comes up, but "Play" yields "Error: File not found". The End.
gamemoderun %command%
Runs perfectly fine and multiplayer works. Game runs great like Windows but be sure to launch the game from a EXT4 partition, the game won't load from a NTFS partition mounted whatsoever.
Can't start playing

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_NO_D3D10=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=90 primusrun %command%
Installation folder hidden if from ~/.local... Moved to a folder that doesn't have [.] in the name.
Without WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=90, sound was borked
Only able to play with under 24fps at low graphics settings. Used to be able to play at least 30fps in Windows on medium graphics. Game will only run on DX11.
Worked without issues with Proton 6.3-8. Played for 3 hours in online coop.
Works fine in windowed mode
Fullscreen crashes on startup, but windowed mode works without any problems
Set "PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1 %command%" as the launch option. You might experience performance drop after alt-tabbing
Had to set "PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1 %command%" as launch option in Steam
After coming back to focused window, game performance tends to drop. So after that restarting game is good thing to do

Start Menu Launches then nothing...
When you launch the game you will see the Start Menu to configure the game. But after you're done configuring and you click to play and launch the game it will simply close.

Runs like a charm
Installed into a folder not starting with "."
Game works great
As noted by others make sure to install in a location that does not contain dots in the path.
PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1 %command%, because game does not recognize folders starting with a period.

I had to run it with 'PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1 %command%' since apparently the launcher cannot find the game if it's installed in a path with hidden directories (starting with a dot). With that, runs perfectly.
After installing the game it wouldn't start. I restarted my PC and then it opened and played fine.
Very minor crackling every now and again.
On some levels there'd be z-fighting on some textures, usually on the ground. It's very minor and infrequent.
Game crashes at startup after a few seconds, launcher does not show up

Game Does Not Start
I clicked green play button then it turned out blue stop icon but 10 seconds later button turns into green again. Simply when I click the play button game does not start.
Sniper Elite 3 finally runs on Linux! I have had a lot of issues running this game before! The first level had great performance.
Frame rates might be a bit lower.
Desactivar el Teselado para evitar artefactos, el juego funciona perfecto.
Works perfectly fine if installed in a directory not having a dot at the beginning or use the launch parameter as described.
I added launch parameter PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1 %command% to get around the issue that games starts not if installed in or below a folder dot at the beginning (e.g. ".steam").
