Configurados para aplicar trucos y sacar bengalas
TDP 4-6W; GPU 600-800mhz
No es compatible con Steam Cloud
Uno de los mejores Tomb Raider de la era clásica, aunque se necesitan hacer un par de modificaciones para disfrutarlo como si fuera de PSone.
Runs out of the box. Everything works as it should.
Launched and played fine with default Proton. Selected windowed mode in launcher and no problems

gamescope -f -- %command%
Set the game to Windowed mode in 32-bit and force it into Fullscreen with gamescope.
You might have to click on the play button multiple times.
Make sure to install gamescope via apt and include the launch options. You will will always have to set Volumetric FX, Bump and Windowed at 32-bit on each launch for this to work.
If it's still not launching or it has stopped launching, make sure to remove ~/.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/compatdata/224980 and launch again.
60/30, TDP 3W
Cutscenes are black.
Gameplay runs well, cutscenes are the problem here by being completely black.
Use touch screen for setup window
Fullscreen doesn't play videos. Play in windowed mode.
Cutscenes won't play.
For the first two missions dynamic lights (weapon muzzle flashes, held flares) did not work. Starting from Valley of the Kings they started to work.
Videos would not work when in full screen. When windowed the videos play at low resolution.

Also tried Proton Experimental and Proton-6.21-GE-2. Tried with different texture formats and other settings from the game setup launcher.
Flares do not give light when in Laras hand, making dark sections of the game very tedious at best, borderline impossible at worst.
Video cutscenes do not play in full screen.
In fullscreen videos not play. Inventory menu has transparency background.
In window mode videos play. Inventory menu has striped background.
Played with Proton 5.13-6.
Proton 6.3-8 works same as 5.13-6 but forces textures to 16-bit.
Fmv must be disabled otherwise game wont launch
Runs fine in fullscreen but you get only sound during FMVs. In window mode FMVs plays OK.
dgVoodoo2 will fix full-screen fmv, not stable to run.
compared to glorious eggroll light and/or color bugs
small but notifiable frame drops from some camera views
some levels will crash usually when loading next level
I tried both nv-prime and intel.
Works perfectly fine.
Set Graphics to windowed mode to see FMV/cut scenes.
You have to first launch "Run Setup" and disable FMV there, otherwise it seems to works fine.
Video cutscenes are not working
It runs good, no lag or crashing. but without cutscenes, no... not really. its important part of the game and story.
cutscenes that is not 3D graphics show black screen
I found the same problem in TR3, ctrl and alt can get input "stuck" but it didn't crash the game like in TR3
After pressing play, big black window appears and nothing happens.
Run in window mode
Game crashes upon launch while cut scenes sometimes are not visible

Cut Scenes Black game crashes
With Proton 5.11-GE-1-MF Cutscenes do work but game still crashes.

Works good
Played with Proton 5.0-7
Lighting not working correctly, and looks too grainy fullscreen without patching. Playable but not attractive.
FMV and lighting are working fine now. Inventory menu can't show transparency properly but it doesn't affect the gameplay.

Latest Proton releases fixed the lightning problem for me. The game still doesn't run on 60 fps but it is still better than its previous state for sure. Disabled FMVs from the setup menu of the game because they do not work. (Add "-setup" to the launch options to access the setup menu)
Also ran this (https://tombraiders.net/stella/files/gamefiles/misc/TombRaider234_Patch.exe) with proton and applied the widescreen patch. You only need game's exe. Just point it to the program and it will patch it.

Apart from the start up screen which you have to minimise, there's a couple of major issues. Firstly, FMV's don't work, (Tomb Raider 1-3 FMV's work but not 4-5). Secondly, Lighting is broken and the game shouldn't be played in this state. Curiously, every other Tomb Raider game's lighting works perfectly, (Tomb Raider 1 - 2013) except this one.

Firstly, like every other Core Design Tomb Raider, the set-up is a hassle to get to. Secondly, the beginning FMV is the only one that plays. Thirdly, the lighting is broken. Lastly, 4.24 Proton was playable but on the new 4.25, it crashes when you click new game and after the FMV which only has audio plays.

No videos, gameplay works fine.

No intro videos/cut scenes, but the game itself works on Proton.

Videos and shadows do not work. The game works correctly.

Does nothing

cant reach the launcher - hidden behind black window

Game opens a black screen with a "settings"/"launcher" window behind it, however it is difficult to select this "settings"/"launcher" window... If one does manage to select the settings or "launcher" window though (using alt+tab and "enter"), it is still pointless because keyboard or mouse input is not detected.

When you launched it you obtain only a black screen. In fact there is a setup window behind this black screen. Just "enter" and the game launches. No keyboard.

Works nearly flawlessly, except lighting is broken, so the game is in fullbright. Seems to be a bug also in WINE, https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31260 ; Seems a workaround should be to use software renderer, however, I was unable to launch the game with that option selected. Note: you can add -setup to the launch options to launch with the config window.
