Works just fine with the tinkers, probably the same performance as Windows with this hardware.

May be my hardware, but wide open areas like the start of the game tanked my FPS, the rest of the game ran great
Game froze in the main menu without "Steam Runtime" launch option enabled in the Heroic settings
Enable Steam Runtime and use ProtonGE on Heroic to have a good time

Turning everything on low, screen effect on medium and fsr on quality will give stable 60fps on lightly crowded areas and around 45-50 on heavly crowded areas while keeping the image quality reasonable.

UI elements are in low resolution/quality

Very laggy on the main menu, fixed when in game

Mouse input lag... until I used ratbagctl to change report rate to 500 and then (back) to 200. Starting on 200 didn't help, always the switch that cured it.
Severe lag for a few minutes on startup, presumably shader compilation. Not on every run, but after every reboot, which seems bizarre.
This is not the only game to experience input lag on my system, so it might not be to blame. At least there's the workaround.

фреймрейт на 40 и tdp на 10
очень редко возникало потиескивание при выходе из сна осле длительного периода (дней 5)
идет идеально

Switched to GE-Proton9-11, no issues runs great

Performance are not influenced by graphics settings

Ugly textures despite high graphics settings
Big lag
Lags and freeze

Some audio crackling during cutscenes, solved regulating the game audio option, lowering to 80% the SFX.
Full screen is always out of sync with AMD Vega 8, no issues with Intel ARC discrete solution.
Systematic crashes with Intel ARC card when you interact with Silas outside the first village at the beginning. Decided to play it with the AMD Vega 8, windowed v-sync, no problem so far.
It's a mistery to me how actual Intel/AMD MESA 24.0.5 can't perform well in some Unreal Engine 4 with Intel ARC GPU. A Plague Tale Innocence and Guardians of The Galaxy does the same issues and for now, I am forced to play those titles with the integrated solution which is not bad but not well as Intel ARC should be. Linux community need to push on this more and harder because they actually are the best discrete card whern price x performance comes along the road. Another thing we need badly on Linux: an Intel control panel that is able to read voltages and temperatures. Please, do it asap and not only on Ubuntu!

In game frame limiter has more fps drops at 30 fps than quick access menu frame limiter

Good to go
Played through the entire campaign, including both DLCs. Absolutely flawless gameplay from beginning to end.

graphic degredation, fps drop
FPS drops when exiting inventory/map screen
Update: using this version of Proton still gets fps drops after entering inventory/map screen. I played it once where it was flawless, but I quit and started the game again but it came back.
Previous entry:
Tried various Wine-GE and Proton-GE versions. Most did not allow play of cutscenes as well as into company logos. The Proton-GE versions had better chances of cutscene play, but always had FPS drops when entering inventory.
If you are having issues with Heroic Proton/Wine versions, update Heroic and it should give you LoL GE options. Then use WineGEProton 9-27 LoL.

Framerate started out fine but dropped to 10-20 FPS after entering and exiting inventory

Usually runs around 80 fps, but can tank down to 30 from what I assume to be shader compilation.
Took me doing alot of trouble shooting with lutris and new versions of proton only for none of it to work. What did work was just turning the proton version back to 7.0-6 and it ran mostly fine without any launch options.

Worked out of the box. No tinkering needed.

DXVK_ASYNC=1
Screen tearing
Nothing higher than medium settings will work, massive fps drops on irregular intervals, not related to opening the menu like others described
Only the first cutscene played, all others are black screen with audio
This edition seems to have issues on Windows and Linux, I'd recommend getting the other one.

Good performance. Cutscenes can be enabled selecting "Use system libraries" from the "Other" menu in Heroic.
Cutscenes are not displayed out of the box.
Overall runs well with wine-ge-8-25.

It really starts well but after switching to the map or to the inventory overview fps is reduced and makes it unplayable.
Game starts running perfect - after switch to map or inventory framerate drastically drops and makes it unplayable.

Enable FSR hack in Heroic version 2.11.0 launcher
FPS (frames per second) drop from 40 fps to around 13 fps after opening journal or map window. FPS drop from 40 fps to 3 fps when near a terminal in the game. So performance is bad, might be due to poor optimisation.
On some rare occasions, game might crash right after loading a new part of the map due to the game asking more than the maximum amount of videomemory (4GB) on my video card. Yeah, I know, my videocard shouldn't even be forced to be running this game :-)
Cut Scenes were not shown at all (blank screen).
The combination of using GE-Proton8-25 and activating "Enable FSR hack" (sharpness strength 5) in Heroic launcher is a more elegant configuration than what I mentioned in my previous report.

Proton: Wine-GE-Proton8-27-LoL Everything work fine. No movie problems.

Fell out of sync during the beginning where you crash land in Emerald Vale
The Pre Rendered Cutscenes did not load as intended in the beginning.
On Pop! OS, I could not get the game to open through the heroic games launcher flatpak on the pop shop. Use the version from Github.

Cut Scenes were not shown at all (blank screen).
With default settings cut scenes are not displayed. To make it work I used Wine-GE-latest and ticked the "Prefer system libraries" checkbox in the "other" tab, like suggested here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/6627

cutscene videos dont play
no cutscenes even with fixes suggested in http;//github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/6627

After 5-10 minutes of playing FPS drops from 40 to 5 (medium settings) - usually whe I try to open any 'specific' window like map view, tinkering table, journal. The strangest thing is that the graphics card goes into a kind of 'idle' state, fans are stopped, card is not gaining the temperature.
I also tried it on the second machine with RTC3050/Debian, the same problem occurs.

Low settings looks bad, use Med and FSR for better looking game. can go 40FPS but will drop frames

Lots of small text, but it's OK if the Deck is docked
Lots of slowdown at times
Crashed frequently and sporadically
I can overlook the slowdown and graphics issues, but the game crashes, quite frequently, meaning you have to save constantly, slowing the game down even more. Hope they optimize this more.
I completed the entire game with no issues using default settings

I installed PhysX with Protontricks but not sure if necessary.
Fixed with the Launch options

Terrible performance, even on low with a lower resolution (like 40 FPS with frequent drops terrible).

I played the original fine, but this version's performance is terrible.
