Tried various Wine-GE and Proton-GE versions. Most did not allow play of cutscenes as well as into company logos. The Proton-GE versions had better chances of cutscene play, but always had FPS drops when entering inventory.
If you are having issues with Heroic Proton/Wine versions, update Heroic and it should give you LoL GE options. Then use WineGEProton 9-27 LoL. Flawless

FPS drops when exiting inventory/map screen
Update: using this version of Proton still gets fps drops after entering inventory/map screen. I played it once where it was flawless, but I quit and started the game again but it came back.
