Difficult to operate menu with buttons- hard to tell what you're selecting. Recommend using touchscreen for the menu outside of driving.
Unsupported is misleading. Touch screen through the menus and all is well.

Para fazer o Retrowave funcionar é necessário ativar a opção de Steam Beta Update em configurações da Steam.
O game é iniciado, com tela totalmente escura e o som sendo executado
Ao iniciar o game Retrowave, observei que quando o game abre, no canto inferior lado esquerdo da tela é apresentado o carregamento, mas, em questão de segundos ele desaparece, sendo óbvio que o jogo iniciará. Mas, não é isso que acontece, a tela fica totalmente preta, não apresenta a intro e nem os menus, o áudio está 100% ativo a todo momento.
The game has a launcher that needs to be operated with the touch screen or mouse touchpad controls (Steam button plus touchpad)
Once you hit play on the launcher the game can be fully controlled with the gamepad controls
It's annoying to see which option is selected because options aren't highlighted and shrunk if it's selected.
Game doesn't launch, problems with DirectX11 dependencies
Even with the PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% parameter on launch options as suggested by other users, I'm unable to play the game.
Game will not launch under any version of Proton without the PROTON_USE_WINED3D environment variable set (otherwise, I get a dialog reporting that no DirectX 11 driver was found). However, with this flag set, performance is unplayable (seconds per frame rather than frames per second).
Unplayable--- approximately 2 seconds per frame, with significant input lag.
The game works great, but only if you make a slight modification to the Steam launch options
The main menu sometimes takes time to load and on very few occasions did I experience a lag episode
It seems to have a problem with the Direct X11 so you have to add the following line in the launch options (If you do not add this line the game does not start)
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Then everything works normally
If you modify the launch option correctly, the game works correctly. It lets you select whether you want to start in full screen mode or windowed mode, both work fine. All the levels and modes load well and the sound works correctly, in general it works quite smoothly, except when loading the menu or when there are some small episodes of lag, which do not affect the gaming experience.
