Works out of the box on Linux, without fullscreen.
Tearing, use the following option:
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command%
The launch options below (did not use both at once, each separately on different runs.)
DXVK_CONFIG="dxgi.syncInterval=1"
DXVK_CONFIG="dxgi.tearFree=True"
did nothing, and tearing still occured.
After hitting Alt+Enter to switch to fullscreen, game became unresponsive, and required me to switch to another workspace/virtual desktop, as it wouldn't allow alt-tabbing/etc.
switching to proton 7 fixed this
Wayland is great
Did switch distros from X11 to wayland and screen tearing is a thing of the past for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games.
Works well with Proton 7.0-1. I played the game from start to finish with no problems other than the initial loading screen taking a while.
games works flawlessly, the controller takes a few minutes to pick up but once it does it just works
Works perfectly!
Completed the game with no issues.
Borderless Fullscreen doesnt work for me. Need to be Fullscreen.
DualSense controller works fine, but might take a minute or two to detect.
Overall the game runs perfectly, aside from the bug below but that issue is on Windows too.
If you're not using the English format, you have to use the following launch option LANG=C %command%
This should also work for the other 2D titles.

There is a lot of tearing because of no vsync. This also occurs on Windows. Since we have dxvk, we can add a dxvk.conf
next to the game executable with either the line:
dxgi.tearFree = True
or
dxgi.syncInterval = 1
Either line alone will fix the problem.
Will not fullscreen on load. You need to press Alt+Enter to switch to it.
Platinum
Works perfectly out of the box.
Worked out of the box
Just like with the first two, this one works like native on day one.
Didn't play for long, but I also didn't found any common issues (windowing problems, input problems, etc.).
