Using the same launch options from the original's remaster (PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% -nointro), it runs great. Switching workspaces seems to freeze the game, but if you don't do that it works perfectly. Might have crashed once during the ~7.5 hours I played the game for, but I think that's generally because of the instability of this version of the game.
With the tweaks from below it works fine. Saving and loading takes a while, even on my SSD, but I'm not sure how different it is on Windows.
When the game first loads in, there is a decent amount of stuttering, but after a minute it's completely gone. When pausing, the cursor will sometimes be locked and unpausing will screw up sensitivity. Switching workspaces fixes it. And lastly, sometimes quick loading will crash. Other that these issues, the game runs perfectly.
The first minute or 2 the game stutters a bit, but after that it runs perfectly. I have the same issue with Blood: Fresh Supply which runs on the same engine.
Runs pretty much perfectly. Had to do some tweaks to get the subtitle text to render larger and tweak the FOV, but those tweaks are necessary on Windows too. The one thing is that the mouse aiming would sometimes be really slow, but I think that's a bug with the mouse look code in the game's engine. I think this would occur on Windows too, so I'll give it the platinum.
Running this on my HDD, it was incredibly slow and basically unplayable. But with my SSD, it is perfect. I think it's more that my hard drive is getting old, so I'll give it a platinum since there weren't any issues once it was running.
Perfect
Didn't try multiplayer, played through most levels in the game including the DLC and it all works perfectly.
Installing https://github.com/Frogging-Family/wine-tkg-git/releases/tag/5.18.r3.g9acfa3b8, worked perfectly. There seemed to be a bug that crashed after the tutorial, but it was patched on launch day. You need glibc 2.32 for it to work.
