Slowdowns at launch and first loading into a game
The game's multiplayer is full functional and was able to get into games with no issue.
Works the same as on Windows.
The need to delete/rename the videos folder is gone and video files are working as of the latest release of ProtonGE
As of this date(08/25/19) the game is still non-functioning, when using the latest version of Proton the game refuses to boot. The farthest you get is a black screen or a system lock up. If you plan on buying this game for your Linux system please consider doing other wise until either this game has compatibility via proton or receives a native Linux port.
Incompatible driver
When launching the game I get the message "Incompatible Driver". When pressing OK it closes the game. Note I'm on Nvidia driver 460.

Game will run outta the box with Proton, if you wish to run the native binary the given launch options are a must as without the game will crash when attempting to load.
Sound effects load in but the music doesn't
Load times were around 10 or so minutes give or take
Though the load times are still long and the music dosen't load I'd argue it doesn't detract from the experience, the game still runs, maintains a constant 60, and there's no visual glitches in sight.
install d3dx9_41
Background elements would not load
Game's resolution can't be changed and doesn't open the binary automatically.
When starting it opens a file explorer rather than the binary
