runs after the drive tweak out of the box
the D:-drive tweak is a bit bad written down by bwdn or theresnou. For more clarity, the tweak is needed, if the game starts in a black window and crashes immediately. To solve this, use a terminal and write this prompt: "WINEPREFIX=home/myuser/.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/compatdata/460790/pfx winecfg" [please note, myuser should be your username on your machine]. This opens the game-specific GUI for the WINE-configuration. There, use "Drives" tab, add a new one (usually it will be named D: automatically) and point it to the game folder, that is "home/myuser/.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/common/Bayonetta". Close Winecfg, start the game and have fun.
As on WIN, the textures need a lot of time to load. If they are all loaded, everything is fine. Moreover, loading time for the game, and the server are longer than 3 minutes, if there is no cache of data (that is, the game run on the computer just before)
After implementing their launcher, the game will not start. The launcher can be by-passed by a shell-script:

Last Version of GE-proton is most stable, almost one crash per (real) day. Official proton produced crashes almost all two or so hours.
GOG-version, installed by lutris, management of language and updates by Gog-Galaxy, also running on lutirs. Game runs via steam --> proton

- mit veralteten NV-Treibern wurde Dampf verpixelt dargestellt, mit NV535 funzts.
- teilweise werden Texturen nicht vollständig dargestellt, d.h. innerhalb einer Oberfläche waren Lücken oder Pixel zu sehen.
GOG-Version. Am besten man Installiert zunächst GOG über Steam, lässt dann GOG mit Proton laufen und installiert dann Cyberpunk via GOG. Nach Abschluss ist es am Besten, wenn man das Spiel dann als nicht-Steam-Spiel der Bibliothek hinzufügt und ohne GOG spielt.

Nach einer Weile und dem Nutzen eines Menus --> freeze
Beim ersten Laden des Spiels werden die shader compiliert. Das dauert je nach Hardware recht lang. Das Fenster des Spiels reagiert dabei auf nichts, es wird auch nichts angezeigt. Das Beenden dieses Vorgangs erkannte ich schließlich daran, dass die CPU keine Last mehr hatte. (Vor einer Woche dachte ich, dass das Spiel überhaupt nicht startet.)

proton5.13 seems not quite adequate or you have to force SteamPlay. With proton5.9-GE-6 from glorios egroll everything is fine. If there is no picture in the main menu, the game can't start the graphics engine, so you have to try out another proton version.
