Everythink works like a charm but the prerrendered videos
Prerrendered videos are not working

1 - Install recomended video driver in Driver Manager Application. 2 - Install GE-Proton9-25 with ProtonUp-Qt. 3 - Force game to use GE-Proton9-25 in game properties.
Enjoy! ;)
Works perfectly out of the box.

I'm under Rocky Linux 9.5, with Nvidia driver installed (no Nouveau) and cuda installed too.

Game crashed once after several days of playing. 3 times I had character desync issues that only restarting the game would fix. 30+ hours of gameplay so far.
Mouse drag camera controls are slow, turning on the keep cursor visible option somehow fixes it. Laptop is dual gpu with nvidia 1650, played great on medium graphics. Also played with same game launch options on Desktop pc with nvidia 4060ti, with graphics at max with same results, plays great. Both PC's running wayland/hyprland.
after I switch from wayland to x11, sound was okay.
game crashed on startn (Unreal process crash UE-TL)

Anti cheat problem

Sometimes your character will be stuck within a certain spot and will be brought back when you jump. Seems to be an issue with communicating with the server. Go to your steam settings and go to In-Game. Lower the number for Server Browser pings and it should fix or at the very least reduce the occurrence of this issue.

Je n'ai pas la configuration mini pour faire tourner le jeux correctement
Just works

The game works with or without my launch options, it runs at the highest FPS consistently very well and looks beautiful.

In settings, AVOID enabling NVIDIA's Frame Generation, for some reason it will allow you to enable it despite frame generation not being available on Linux yet which will cause a black screen, if that happens, force close the game, and use the following command inside the games prefix folder: tyler@arch …/2429640/pfx/drive_c 10:52 find "/run/media/$USER/DriveNameHere/SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/2429640" -type f -exec grep -i "DLSSFrameGenerationEnabled" {} + Remember to replace the folder in quotes to your games prefix/compatdata folder.
It should return the location for your GameValue.ini you can either delete it or just change the value like below:
Then in GameValue.ini CTRL+F for this setting: TLGame.TLOption.DLSSFrameGenerationEnabled Make sure it's set to false. TLGame.TLOption.DLSSFrameGenerationEnabled#1=false Then the game will work again. (Thankfully this setting isn't on by default so you don't need to worry about it unless you accidentally enabled it)
I had to disable the 60FPS limit that was set by default when starting the game, but after I did that and avoided accidentally enabling NVIDIA's frame generation, the game ran perfectly vsynced to my 165hz monitor @ 165 fps consistently without dropping using DLSS Quality + Epic Presets(highest preset) so you don't really need frame generation anyways, although it would be nice to have nvidia's original dlss on quality mode + amd fsr frame gen on all games since that has worked in a few other games I own. Hell, even FSR + FSR Frame gen is better even on an NVIDIA card. But for a game like this that runs very smoothly without being too hard on my higher end hardware something like frame gen wouldn't really make any difference. It's a fun game, little bugs if at all I've found, stable, no crashes, runs right out of the box with or without my launch options so it's a good game for PC Linux users. (not sure about steam deck yet haven't tried it on mine yet)

Got stuttering playing under KDE/wayland. After switching to KDE/Xorg the game runs smooth.
Enabled performance mode globally and permanently with echo "manual" > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_dpm_force_performance_level; echo "1" > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_power_profile_mode

NPC voice over was silent. All other audio worked fine.

latter updates added lower 16:10 resolutions in game which you can use for 60fps or 60+40hz (1280x800, 1152x720, 960x600)
30fps

When selecing 2560x1440 16:9 in fullscreen. I had black bars on top and bottom, very cinematic.
Game seems playable as is. But letting the shaders compile and turning off Steam overlay really helped. When locked to 60 FPS it's pretty stable.

Sometimes your character will be unable to communicate movement to the server. I don't know why this happens (maybe a stuck key?) and this might not be a linux thing but I haven't had this issue on my Windows boot yet (I don't go there often). Basically you seem like you move around on your monitor just fine until you keep getting teleported a specific spot all the time. Workaround is exiting the game and re-launching.

This might be down to game optimization, but some areas in the game tanked quite a bit (more than 50% fps drop). I don't mean the cities filled with players of course, those are a different story.

I tested it directly with protonGE because someone I knew said the game didn't work

infrequent game crashes.
From time to time character gets pinned to a spot but shows moving anyways, but when he jumps he gets ported back to where he got pinned. Rolling allows to move the "Pinned spot" but only fix i found was to exit and restart.

idk if it's because I didn't realise something but in full action mode I didn't manage to move the camera, so I switched to classic mode with camera movement on the mouse
Didn't have any anti-cheat problems or any lag, I play on medium on account of the ageing GPU

not working on my setup, tried several combinations of launch options and proton/proton ge, no luck.

Just make sure to not install it on an NTFS partition EAC dosn't work well with that!

shift + 4 is not working. Alt does not make the mouse visable, only in combination of alt + ctrl + shift make it appear.
The game freezes completely

Not difficult per se, but a bit small for the screen. UI can be scaled up in options, though.
Game worked very well out of the box. FPS are at 60 most of the time. Once in a settlement or in an area with more assets loaded, FPS usually drop to a maximum of 30. Controller controls work really well. Standard UI size was a bit small, but was quickly scaled up in settings. One thing I found a bit annoying was, that switching between mouse/keyboard and controller controls wasn't smooth at all and there is always like a 1-2 second freeze everytime when switching back to controller. So using mouse/keyboard for easier menu controls was a bit inconvenient.

It works out-of-the-box without any tinkering needed. The game runs fine on linux and thankfully EAC is working under proton.

The game itself runs amazing for my low-end laptop. I don't have any video or audio issue and the game runs as it should. With the use of FSR 2 or XeSS I can achieve 60 FPS on 900p and 720p on low-medium settings. Hopefully they will add FSR 3.1.x and AMD FG so that everyone can have better FPS in heavy fight scenes.

Mouse hangs up on right side menus on a regular basis. Don't know if this is a Linux specific problem, but it can be game breaking. Have found no fix.
Besides the mouse issues, the only thing I ran into was major stuttering the first time I played the prologue. Somewhere in the middle of them it all started working correctly. Haven't had issues since. (Started a new character to see.)

Just using Proton experimental | Recommending using Wayland instead of Xorg
