Certain items like the grappling hook would cause microstutters. Otherwise ran well.
It just works
This is very strange, but pressing the page up button on my mouse causes a microstutter. Shouldn't be a problem if you don't bind anything to this button on the mouse.
Game seems to run perfectly after disabling Esync and using Wine3D. Without the tweaks it would crash on launch. Go here to find out how to get to the file that needs tweaking: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton#runtime-config-options
Random hangs make it annoying to play
Game would hang at random, but otherwise FPS was fine.
Game runs at a solid 60 fps most of the time, but in certain areas have reduced performance.
Game's playable if you can deal with the audio issues.
Audio get's incredibly garbled during intense sections of the game.
Had to edit some lines in /etc/pulse/daemon.conf to get the audio working properly. After doing the fix audio works perfectly on my computer.
Edit these settings in daemon.conf:
default-fragments = 5
default-fragment-size-msec = 2
Frequent stuttering and missing music
Music is missing without installing a seperate midi player.
Game frequently stutters
Hitting play will show the game as running for a brief period of time before it shows as not running.
You need to go into the in game options menu and switch your output device to get audio working.
Game stutters on high settings, but runs well on medium graphic settings.
