First time I tried to launch it got stuck on verifying the workshop. I then entered the workshop through the launcher and the second time it worked fine.
Getting the "cannot retrieve a license key" error - the terminal command given seems to have stopped working.
It does work fine through Lutris, but don't bother with the W/DXVK version as it will just fail to connect to the internet.
Just turn DXVK on in the runner settings after you are done.
I would not recommend playing this if you care about the story due to the audio issues.
Cutscenes are missing random audio lines, and subtitles don't work either. I disabled Fsync and Esync and still didn't work very well.
Setting virtual desktop using winecfg as outlined in other reports fixed this.

Out of mission cutscenes are in German for some reason - in mission cutscenes are English.
protontricks 359320 -q dotnet472
Switching out and back in with Alt-Tab can cause full screen to not working properly - but doing it again usually fixes it.
Seems to all work fine, haven't played it on Windows but no graphical glitches/loading issues that were reported before.
Works great, no noticeable lag (unlike F1 2018) and Force Feedback/Rumble works (at least on a DS4 controller). Did a few laps of Spain, and worked great.
Very minor thing, when creating my driver, the character models were "blocky" around the edges (like AA turned off, but worse). None of this while sitting in the car though.
Further to my previous report I have decided to downgrade this game to "Silver"
To be clear, the game does run fine. Minor "blocky" graphical issues on character models as noted before, but nothing that makes it unplayable as long as you are using DX11 mode.
However, the game will crash quite frequently during the loading screen. This seems to happen most when returning to the main menu, and sometimes the game won't start the first time and has to be killed and relaunched. It's playable, but a little patience is required.
Game itself works great, as mentioned previously launcher was a bit hit and miss before installing latest GE Proton
7.0rc3-GE-1
Game itself was fine, but launcher would frequently crash (could take >10 minutes to get it to finally load). This was fixed by installing GloriousEggrolls Proton 7.0rc3-GE-1
Tried installing vcrun2008 black textures are still everywhere, makes the game unplayable
Using protontricks to install vcrun2008 fixed the lighting issues. A little laggy, but nothing unplayable so far.
Works beautifully, wouldn't know it wasn't native after using PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Game wouldn't launch without PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command% - after that worked fine
Followed the instructions here: https://github.com/Linux74656/SpaceEngineersLinuxPatches
Space Engineers window steals mouse focus even when minimised - mouse is unusable outside the game
No tweaks needed worked fine. Got a little lag in some ground combat, but nothing major and cleared after a second.
All worked fine, did the tutorial, no issues and no lag etc. One tiny little non-issue. The first time I launched it, Uplay patched itself and asked me to log in. After I had done this Uplay didn't register the game and dumped me back to the main menu. Quitting Uplay and relaunching then bound it to my account and it worked fine.
Game plays ok but as mentioned previously the mouse misbehaves occasionally. Usually pressing Alt-Enter to switch between full-screen and windowed mode a few times will correct it, but sometimes when doing that the mouse loses the window entirely, at which point you have to Alt-Tab to reselect Subnautica. This happens approximately every 4-5 minutes.
Game starts, but won't get beyond initial loading screen (suspect it's a DRM issue as this game can't be played offline)
Originally reported this as borked, but now works perfectly. Did the tutorial with no issues - performance on "Very high" - you would never know you weren't playing on Windows.
