4 FPS on steam with proton 6.3-4
Hit 4 fps limit in game. 1-63 fps in menu
Did not force steam play compatibility in steam game properties, but did have steam play in main steam play settings for all titles checked, using proton 6.3-4
will not even launch
was able to download and install the game, not able to launch it, proton experimental and proton 6-3 wont run it. Not forcing proton compatibility didnt let it open either.
Wine and Winetricks might need to be installed for origin to work, but after clicking play and signing into origin it worked.
Probably because im using OpenGL right now instead of Vulkan, or something else with API.
Most people will enjoy it, but as linux gamers we can notice a few more things. It runs OK.
Very little or light audio sync issues, only happened once

TLDR: runs OK most of the time 60-80ish frame high preset with some 40ish low frames only happened once in 1 hour of play. I think wait for 1 or 2 patches and it will be a great experience.
With my 34" 1440p ultrawide setup, I set it to high instead very high preset graphics. Maxed out FOV and turned off Motion blur. Set graphics to high details, the game was launched in an okay state. Pretty surprised how OK it was. I am happy the Nixxes has done some better work here. I wanted to support Sony making good games but only if PSN was optional, not mandatory , I think its worth $60 on ps5 and should $50 in its current state, if it performed better I would say its worth $60. I got mostly 60ish to 80ish frames in most spots and in the opening act. But had some lows of 40 ish frames. I think it would be a good experience for most people and with a Dualsense controller it can be a bit more fun.
Everything set to low and FSR to Ultra performance for 25 fps on deck.
Need some more optimization especially on steam deck, and playing offline will be annoying or not possible. Everything was already set to low, FSR ultra performance helps keep trying to keep it near 25 fps. Limit refresh rate 25hz. Not sure how much better it will with the fan at full blast with the fantastic decky plugin and with it plugged in.
Steam Proton Version: Proton Experimental. Just hit play after downloading it. Works Great!

This game works right out of the box. Now that they have fixed it.
