Good performance. The game launcher crashes. A quick fix is to navigate to the install folder, inside "/Binaries/Win64/" and rename BorderlandsGOTY.exe to Launcher.exe. Simply hit play and the game will launch.
DSFix/DSMFix worked great, performance is great, and no graphical issues.
Must disable in game Anti Aliasing if using DSFix otherwise it will crash (happens on Windows as well).
The game will freeze/crash after character creation because the videos do not play properly. To fix this you need to either install WMP9 via winetricks, or rename the "movWW" folder to anything else. This will skip the intro video and go straight into the game.
Upon launching the game, it would hang on installing Microsoft Edge Web View. I had to rename/delete the installer in steamapps/common/DarkTide/launcher/MicrosoftEdgeWebview2Setup.exe
Afterwards the launcher popped up correctly. Sometimes the buttons won't be clickable after a few seconds.

The game in general performs poorly - This is an issue also affecting Windows so it is not Linux specific. Otherwise it works great.
Hopefully the game gets ironed out for full release.
EAC is preventing the game from launching, but I was able to get it launching by renaming the games executable.
In the games folder rename start_protected_game.exe to backup or w.e
Then create a copy of eldenring.exe and rename it to start_protected_game.exe
This will allow you to launch the game in offline mode.
Hopefully this EAC thing gets sorted out soon because online play is a part of the experience.
While the game seemed to work fine with DXVK, after entering the "catacombs" in prophecies, I would experience a strange freeze. Switching to Wine D3D seems to work without issue, and performance is plenty fine.
All high settings at 1440p, AA off, Realtime Reflections off, and Motion Blur off. Other than that not much to say, it just werks.
I installed wininet via Winetricks. Without it the game would crash when hitting new game.
Good performance, some slowdowns in areas. I run a mixed high/medium setting at 1440p resolution. The game will crash after beating the "final" boss. The solution is to use this install script: https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install The game will save progress before the crash, so I had no issue installing it after defeating the boss.
Decent performance, no noticeable issues other than FXAA simply not working.
FXAA is enabled by default, and causes the screen to be completely black. This can be fixed by launching, force closing the game, then change the setting in the config file located at: /steamapps/compatdata/4920/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Application Data/Natural Selection 2/system_options.xml
In the config: "fxaa" change "fxaa" to "taa" or "off".
It's a fun game, and runs pretty well.
Very infrequent crashes, but they happen nonetheless. I believe it only crashes when entering a loading screen, but it hasn't happened enough to confirm.
The first launch seemed to have only a black screen (Proton GE), but my subsequent launch with Proton 5.13-6 worked fine. Previous reports mentioned adding a DXVK config with dxgi.deferSurfaceCreation = True
, but I did not need to add this. Out of the box Proton worked.
Great performance with no issues whatsoever. Also tested extensively with Ultimate Apocalypse mod. Installing large mods requires large address aware, but that is the same as Windows.
