Works great just like any other Touhou game.
Install & play.
Game would use up all memory and swap, causing OOM Killer to kick in and crash the game as well as Steam.
Whatever I managed to test before crashing worked.
Tried to use GE-Proton with no luck.
Works perfectly out-of-the-box.
Played on DX12 with no problems.

Runs great natively aside from a few minor bugs
A few sound effects seem to be missing like sword swinging. Battle music fails to kick in sometimes.
Some mods have borked textures.
The game asks for your serial key the first time you play online.
Proton fixes aforementioned issues but also brings its own share of them. I prefer native over Proton most of the time unless the game is unplayable, which this isn't.
Opening the Steam overlay freezes the game on anything older than Proton 4.11-13.
If you only play Native, then Proton might not be necessary. Enable Proton if you want to play mods, but make sure to disable the Steam overlay if not using Proton 4.11-13 or older.
Alpha V, works fine.
Fixed crackling by setting SoundrtAudioSetBufferSize
to 512 in Preferences.ini
.
Score submissions keep failing for no apparent reason.
gamemoderun %command%
Works flawlessly, native, Proton not needed
No issues whatsoever. Workshop mods worked fine too.
/opt/wine-discord-ipc-bridge/winediscordipcbridge-steam.sh gamemoderun %command%
See below.
System would get overloaded when playing the native version.
My previous system could run this game natively just fine, though Proton works well too. I use https://github.com/0e4ef622/wine-discord-ipc-bridge to get rich presence on Discord.
Works great.
Launch window requires touch input.
Works out of the box
I was able to play the game in English as well using the thpatch Standalone Patches. Rename the original executable to whatever you want and rename "th10 (thpatch-en).exe" to "th10.exe". Edit ./thcrap/config/games.js (or if it's an older version, ./thcrap/games.js) to point to the original executable which you renamed. You can do the same for the configuration tool.
Works like a charm, as always.
It's Touhou, not much to say here.
Stable 60 FPS at all times.
Works just as you would expect it to.
Native, works just fine.
Terraria didn't detect mouse 4 and 5 when rebinding keys.
Mods didn't download until I installed mono and added %command%-mono
to the launch options.
