Great, buy it!
As the dev explained the game requires Vulkan and has fallback mode to openGL. The fallback brung unexpected result so the Dev advised install Vulkan and game runs perfect now :)
Capitalism plus on Steam Proton runs better, faster then the GOG version with wine.
The Grafic need some time to esteblish. Its like slomo but still faster then the gog version.
not working under mint it seems. tried different proton and kernel, no success

as described below u need set ur resolution to 800x600 then game works well
game crashes witout PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
there is a bug in the native version which makes enchanted equipment invisible. with proton and w3dx enabled its fixed
the proton w3dx settings it takes a bit longer to load the welcome screen
without PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% games crashs in non native version and proton here.
since i expereienced a bug in the native version https://forums.kleientertainment.com/klei-bug-tracker/oni/lines-between-research-items-disapeared-when-loading-save-r24312/ i use proton now and it works
i installed winetricks as discribed above. then run: env WINEPREFIX="${HOME}/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/3900/pfx" WINEPATH="${HOME}/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Proton 3.7/dist/bin/wine64" winetricks d3dx9 corefonts msxml3 msxml4 3 . then run WINEPREFIX="${HOME}/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/3900/pfx" WINEPATH="${HOME}/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Proton 3.7/dist/bin/wine64" winecfg 4 . i was able to play without calendar/stonehenge bug. it works fine now. i only tested if the calendar/stonehenge bug appeared. its not the case.
