Preview videos of crafting and skills are not working (replaced with placeholder)
In settings or overlays with mouse the cursor ist unstable (sometimes jumps a little bit around the actual position).
Video output did not work with not-experimental proton, only audio of launch screen. But with experimental it starts normal.
The mouse is a bit unstable and sometimes jumps around a little bit, so navigating through settings or in-game buttons could be tricky but manageable.
Preview videos of skills or crafting are replaced with a placeholder video (the common "default" video: colored vertical stripes).
Problems
After starting the game, it got stuck at about 50% loading screen before main menu. In order to fix this, I followed the instructions on https://forums.dayz.com/topic/251552-dayz-on-linux-through-proton/?tab=comments#comment-2474893 \
tl;dr
Start Options: -nolauncher -nosplash -world=empty -skipintro
Additional: sysctl -w vm.max_map_count=262144
After some time the game freezed. Restarting helped.

Starting the game with fullscreen got me stuck in a black screen. Manually edit the settings file to borderless fixed it. But my borderless window has a white 1px border; first it bothered me (that's why i changed to fullscreen in first place), but after couple of minutes i got instant used to it.
Besides the fullscreen issue: it works like a charm without any problems or crashes!
