At first I launched the game with Proton 6.3 which did not work. Switching to Proton 5.13 didn't work either. It only worked after I switched to the beta version and back to the stable version and keeping Proton 5.13. I guess I could also have reinstalled the game.
To remove the "Warning: You are running an unsupported video driver, please update your driver for optimal performance." popup I had to disable in-game notifications in the Ubisoft launcher settings.
Run perfectly, can play with a Steam Controller with no issue
I needed to add the CodeMasters CA to my system trusted CA : https://www.upload.ee/files/9626680/codemasters.pem.html
On some tracks there is no motor sound
To make my Logitech G920 work with force feedback I needed to disable steam input and use this workaround :

Compile it and add this to the game steam launch options :
/FFBWRAP_PATH/bin/ffbwrap --update-fix /dev/input/event3 -- %command%
Will run really great without any tweaks
Only encountered bugs also present on Windows :
- rarely textures can glitch and become blurry
- in a mission, an important character can disappear and block the progression (the only way out of this is to load an older save)
