As long as you dont need to connect to BattlEye protected servers it runs without any flaws.
Proton6.8-GE-1
I experienced frequent crashes during the Norman campaign but I solved them using a method I found https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/5258 in this thread.

cabextract vc_redist.x64.exe
cabextract a10
cp ucrtbase.dll /home/$USER/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1466860/pfx/drive_c/windows/system32/
Mic not working online
It appears that the chat server doesn't connect both text and voice. You can't hear other players talking, nor can you talk or type yourself.
On my machine the performance of this game is at 100% parity with Windows 10 using DX12, DX11 gave me a performance decrease, however.
For my AMD 6800XT I needed to add the radv launch command for the game to stop artifacting and missing textures.

Textures failed to load and massive broken meshes stretched across my city
Very performant, very stable frametimes (6.7ms), 144fps consistently. This game really shows what is possible with proton.
Steam overlay sometimes makes input wonky, just open and close the overlay again and it'll fix it.
I also tried this on the deck and it has some problems with the UI being cut off on the top and bottom, also it had the crashing issue.
Would always crash after the tutorial using proton experimental, I didn't try using non experimental 7.0-2 but GE-Proton7-17 worked to stop the crashing.
I also tried this on the deck and it has some problems with the UI being cut off on the top and bottom, additionally it had the same crashing issue but switching to Proton GE fixed it for me. I'm not sure how this got a verified rating for the Steam Deck, however.
Very playable experience.
Inputs are a bit inconsistent even at high framerates.
I'd say the game runs at ~ 70% the framerate of the windows version.
Game runs fine. Saw some other reports that it ran poorly. I thankfully didn't experience that.
I needed to install vcrun2019 for the game to work.
To get over 60FPS I needed to change FrameRateLimit=0.000000 to FrameRateLimit=144.000000 in ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1549180/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Propnight/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor/GameUserSettings.ini
The gas from the gas spewing stalagmites did not render properly, and there were menu artifacts and huge input lag in ALL menus.
Severe input lag coupled with very inaccurate movements.
There was VERY severe performance issues present. This was tested on the newest update (Update 4). The performance issues were specifically hardcore input lag and skipping, mixed with freezes when loading a new chunk. Framerate was unplayable dipping to 2fps at times, and averaging 20-25.
