Game appears to run fine at first, but is missing graphical elements (background layers and portrait pictures)
Missing elements such as background layers and in-game portrait pictures
Game appears to be running but doesn't show any graphics, just a black screen
Game ran fine out of the box for me. Using the 64bit binaries is recommended for smoother performance.
Game requires Origin, which doesn't seem to work properly
After making an account and logging in with it, Origin mentions that the save folder isn't valid and another one must be chosen, but this window disappears and the process terminates. Several UI elements appear to be rendered as unique windows. I have never used 'Origin' before and I already passionately hate it. Screw EA. Steam won. You lost. Accept it.
Patch 1 wrecked the game with invasive anti-cheat
Put about 80 hours in the game, running great with the latest Proton and Nvidia drivers - and then this patch comes along and totally borks the game. I want to punch the exec that greenlit this in the face.
Appears to run fine at first, but inevitably freezes about 10 seconds in
Runs flawlessly, aside from large stutters when new assets are loaded in, even with the game running off an ssd
Freezes and stuttering when new assets are loaded in, even from an SSD
Main menu and intro video but it crashes once gameplay or demo starts
Game runs fine in Proton-6.8-GE-1. Intro video is skipped and couldn't get gamepad to work though
Game works but runs slowly, even in the main menu
Game runs quite slowly, even in the menu screens
Shows a black screen for a while, then a crash report window with no actual crash report
Game runs flawlessly out of the box with great performance
Online multiplayer is very slow when joining another session
Game runs but with stuttering and audio issues that increase over time
Audio channels seem to drop out over time until barely any sounds play
Very low quality textures
Stutters that increase over time
Game runs well but I had some slight issues with a Dualshock 4 gamepad.
Playing with a Dualshock 4. The controller works, but buttons are swapped around, and not fully reconfigurable in-game, which leads to some annoyances calling up the menu screen (which also goes from fullscreen to windowed mode every time it's opened). Annoying but not unplayable.
Despite the game's speed and frame rate remaining stable, the helicopter's movement speed would jump up and down at intervals, making the game hard to play. I used libstrangle to fix this by adding 'strangle 60 %command%' in the game's launch options.
