The newest Proton that my Linux PC works with is 4.2, the game won't launch on anything newer, including Experimental and ge-custom

Plays fine with Proton 4.11-13 (anything newer will crash when starting a new game), alhough the frame rate is slightly juddery.
Map the following inputs:
- Arrow Keys (movement)
- Z (fire, menu select)
- X (bomb, menu back)
- Enter (start, pause)
- ESC (quit)
- Had to set my DUALSHOCK 4 via Steam's "Controller Configuration" to reflect keyboard inputs.
- For 2 Players local coop with controllers, I needed to start the config tool of the game and set "Keyboard 1P" and "Keyboard 2P" to different keys, then set each controller to reflect their respective keyboard keys in Steam's controller configuration. Without doing this, all peripherals were seen as Player 1 and both controllers were seen as the same in the game's own config key mapping. I assume this is the game's fault more than Proton.
The game kept crashing when starting a new game with any Proton more recent than 4.2-9. Forcing compatibility via the game's properties to 4.2-9 made it work without issues.
Main menu and intro video but it crashes once gameplay or demo starts

Run perfectly out of the box and after loading controller configs (as in windows for any controller) it works perfect with Xbox360 Wireless Controllers too.

Restested after a few months. Controllers are now working (Xbone tested).

Runs perfect in fullscreen. Didn't try using a gamepad like the other guy did, but it works great with a keyboard and has performance parity with Windows.

360 controller not working. Keyboard controls worked.
