Works out of the box, no config needed. Fun game, online co-op works fine
Works completely fine, experience is as good as native
Frames were lower on arch compared to debian, and was capped at 60Hz
Alt tabbing in fullscreen has some problems. Alt tabbing on windowed works fine.

Works perfectly OOTB
Can join and play with people through the steam friends menu
Everything works as expected including using a wired xbox one controller
No tinkering needed, works perfectly, performance equal to windows if not better
Played with several groups online. Works like native.

Runs flawlessly as far as i can tell.

Played about 2-3 hours total of 2 player coop, seems to run without any issues.
Played on two different distros including current Opensuse install, worked well on both

Occasional minor network lag, but overall very much playable.

Trigger buttons weren't detected (might be Steam itself?)
Game runs decently well on Chromebook given you are either willing to sacrifice graphics quality or FPS. Game runs around 30-40 FPS on around medium graphics but can go higher if lowered more
Works again!

At the beginning could start it but after some more tries it started working perfectly (it was probably my fault)> Played a few time with my friends for a few hours and didn't have any problems

Couldn't install the VCC runtime until I switched to Proton Experimental. Game now runs flawlessly.

unplayable as of current version
seems to crash ~1 minute into every run, unplayable

Borked after Latest update, crashes a few mins after launch.
Hope this gets fixed, it worked perfectly before.

Runs near perfect if not perfect.
Rare disconnecting issue of connected player to host. perhaps once every 6-8 hours of play. unsure if this is internet connection, game code, or proton related. I suspect it is not proton related just as a hunch.

Broken since last update
Memory leak: RAM fills within seconds of launching the game. Game is playable with only minor freezes until swap is full, then the system freezes.
I played this game for a few hours already, and everything worked fine. Then a new update came, and now there is a memory leak that fills the RAM within seconds and allows for maybe 20 minutes of gameplay until my oversized 128GB swap is filled.
I tried default Proton, Experimental and Proton GE. Nothing worked so far.

Perfect
No issues, no tinkering required, install and play.
Great experience, but take note this game currently on early access

After fully completing this game with all achievements and unlockables. Including the most recent at the time of writing “difficulty update”, I can confidently say there is no issues with this game under proton, even during long play sessions!

minor pixelating in the hud only
Went a coop run
If not launched with GE-Proton7-42, the game will give a window popup of a C++ install script and will not let you install even if you select yes.
While in game, if you dock the Steamdeck to an external display, sometimes it will retain the Steamdeck's aspect ratio and resolution on said display until the game is relaunched.
Game not installing C++ upon selection when not forcing a specific version of Proton.
This game will NOT run out of the box on Steamdeck despite what other reviews have said from my experience (I have tested this on my own and a friend's Steamdeck who's had no modifications). Make sure you force compatibility with GE-Proton7-42 or C++ will not install and you wont be able to fully launch the game. Once you get past that, this game is a blast and really hard to put down.

Was very roboty system-wide before adding launch arguments
Stuttery when spectating other players, but this is a game bug, not linux specific.
Played with windows friends with no issues.
Game input feels beyond smooth, runs without any issues while keeping above 240 fps in most situations.
I was easily able to hit my FPS target without any slow downs or notable issues
Multiplayer just worked, I did not experience any latency issues while playing with people across the globe
Menu text is a little small but still legible.

TDP Limit of 9, Low Graphical Quality and Low Anti-Aliasing in-game. 720p resolution. 50hz refresh rate.
Not "hard to read", but some text was cut off at the side of the screen that I think is fixed by using a 16:9 res like 720p.
Very addicting game, do not recommend until you have at least 5 hours set aside.
Runs perfectly. No problems whatsoever.
required DLLs do not install on proton 7.x
the unreal engine 4 prerequisite dialog fails installing components on proton 7.x and experimental
