Like native game 0 problems
works out of the box

The game is very enjoyable, and other than the noted odd performance dip, the game plays flawlessly.
For a 4080 super, even at 4k the game sometimes dips below 60, and there is some significant pop in when approaching the garage by car, but it doesn't impact overall gameplay.

The last 4 hours of playtime from both yesterday and today have been nothing but smooth. absolutely zero issues.
The only tinkering that was necessary was switching to proton experimental.

Ran out of box
A little laggy at times but overall runs really well

Works perfectly out of the box! No issues!
The game is Laggier than usual.
Contraband Police is a very simple game made by a smaller developer team yet with that it still manages to run great on Linux despite it not being a native game

Game doesnt run over 30fps drops to 23fps
It just works. The only thing you have to do to play is select that you want to run it with Proton. It works the same as it does on Windows.

gamemoderun %command%
- The game occasionally froze during "inspection" on default Proton.
- The game runs well on Proton Experimental.

Changed to K/B mode and configured keys for the game
Changed the D-Pad to match with other keys for the game.

Switch to Proton Experimental to launch the game.

Rock solid
Played the entire campaign with no issues, just install and go.
Game runs great, no effort needed
Sometimes drops fps count
Runs perfect, no issues at all

Runs way too slow to be normally playable
Screen tearing and missing AA
Less than 10 FPS every time I start the game or restart level, 20 FPS otherwise
The game runs great as is. No tinkering necessary.
Required several more keys be added, I bound (I) and (C) to the d-pad.
Occasionally. No huge issues though.
Either use kbm or wait for controller support for best experience.

Added a Layer for driving with a back button toggle because I didn't like the shoulder buttons for it. Also added extras to LT: Tab & RMB, and RT: E & LMB.
So that RT becomes interact and click, and left becomes "open folder".
I changed the left radial menu to hold Map, Inventory, f1 and whatever else comes up rarely. Right I turned into a touchpad menu to do 1-6 (hotbar).
Still a work in progress, but a very playable layout so far.
TDP Limit 12.
Small text in turorial area and the guide. Playable but you gotta get close.
First time running the game didn't save properly so I had to restart on the second session. Time it takes to get through the first few days of the game is long so I probably wouldn't try again if it failed again.
Fiddly controls but well worth it for such a great little game idea. Feels well executed and thought out, has a really similar vibe/environment to Papers Please. Played out of the box, basically all awesome.
Fixed by lowering graphics settings a tad...
Played the demo for about an hour, as well as the full game for a couple hours with no issues at all! Frame rate hovers around 100-150 on high settings with my hardware.

Some sort of mouse smoothing is enabled with no setting to disable it
Only 70-100 FPS on my system @ 1440p
Everything works great, absolutely no issues at all.
I didn't need to change or do anything and it just works.
Sometimes drop fps to 30-40fps

GloriousEggroll Proton-5.11-GE-3-MF GloriousEggroll
GloriousEggroll Proton-5.11-GE-3-MF
Around 40-50 FPS on ultra 1080p
