When you start the game through Proton you get a popup
"Failed to load Xignocode. Close the client."
Then the loading screen gets stuck on "Loading..." indefinitely. Unplayable. Bummer!

It goes through install process, but doesn't start. No message, no errors, nothing

Tried with Proton 5.0-9 and 5.0-13. Just a black box and some Japanese text with two button, clicking on the left one shows an error window (ftp error) and clicking on the right one does nothing.

Text-based names for users and locations are broken. The same issue with the text exists on still images on the load screens. I believe this was an ultrawide issue that exists on Windows too. It's not a big issue.

Crashes on startup
While loading up the game it just crashes with a generic error message stating something went wrong
Only on low level gameplay this game is playable or if somebody has more luck to not experience a crash.
The game seems to be stable on low level gameplay, but I experience a lot of game crashes on higher levels in Primal Park, AOV. I had also crashes in Meet Factory, Dipluce Horizon, District 6, Innocent Daydream and Golden Citadel (solo and with a team). Sometimes I can play an hour or even more, sometimes the crashes happens after a few minutes of gameplay. Sometimes the game is freezed forever instead of crash, so I need to kill the entire process tree manually. Changing some game settings, computer (with AMD GPU), Proton versions, using OpenGL instead of Vulkan doesn't help.
Alt-tab (changing the window focus) or changing the game settings in 5 cities (Rucco Town, Candus City, Grace City, Ruin Fortress, Dipluce Horizon) takes about 5 seconds and the game is freezed in meantime. No issues in districts, Grasscover Camp, Gate to Golden Citadel.
Using OpenGL (wined3d) instead of Vulkan (dxvk) lowers the performance and causes graphics bugs.

Every first entry into the sector results in a crash at random moment. After restart PC [I can't close process] game works normally. Primal unplayable [42 health bar crash].
I tried client 1.7.27.5 (newest as of this writing) /w Proton 5.0-5 and it works very well.
The premium shop doesn't always function correctly. It usually does the first time you launch it though. This bug would relate to the browser Steam uses.

It have fps micro-freezes a bit more often then on windows, but it's not ruining gameplay
The game runs perfectly fine but sometimes just randomly freezes and stops responding. This isn't happening often, but if it happens during a raid you're pretty much out of the picture. I've noticed that it crashes most often on Primal Park raid. I've tested the game with multiple launch options, but none of them resolved the issue of crashing.
