Anticheat appears to think that proton is a cheat and will place you in cheater pool, prevents a few features such as hosting public games and leaderboards, not wise to use for crossplay accounts but game remains playable.
account management does not work from in game, but can be accessed from the menu to log in.
Game freezes during early boss, preventing progress.
Game freezes during Karna boss fight, unable to get past him and test any further. Unknown if this is only this boss, or if other bosses cause this issue.
Crashes upon playing a game.
Most newer versions won't launch or are significantly laggy, this version works up until you try and actually play a game.
Played until ~level 30 with only 1 crash, however friend on Windows also got crash for same reason, so doesn't appear to be a proton issue. Game ran smoothly without any tweaks.
Alt does not work to change mouse mode.
7.0.6 works, but was not able to launch with newer versions of Proton.
As mentioned in report below, need to do the following to connect to game network.

No success in running Initial Settings.exe so must change settings by modifying UserData/setup.xml which will not appear without some tweaking. No success in getting any mods to load up properly. Official patch works flawlessly and game runs very well. If you wish to run through Steam, you must rename "Koikatsu Party.exe" to "Initial Settings.exe" and rename the folder "Koikatsu Party_Data" to "Initial Settings_Data"
