Didn't run on any of the proton versions
Tried from Proton experimental down to 5.0-10 but couldn't laungh a scenario on any of the proton versions. On experimental it load the initial screen where you create the user profile but it also crash and never got that far after. I'm really dissapointed because I have run tsw 2020 on lesser hardware on Linux but it is crashing on my G15.
distorted video in cutscenes
A little bit of audo crackling, and the audio was very quiet.

Had to manually copy over save files from windows to linux install
No differences found with running on Windows.

Works really well!
Sometimes minor fps-drops
Works perfectly.
Works without any problems with Proton 5.0-10
DOESN'T work with Proton 5.13-5 (initial logo then crash)
Use the GloriousEggroll versions of Proton. I only had to turn down some graphics settings, shadow quality and post processing.
GloriousEggroll Proton-5.9-GE-4-ST
Should address performance issues. I have plaid other games like ETS2 and ATS and those have better performance on Linux.
Game is seriously lagging. Still it keep working. Not getting stuck anywhere.
The game didn't start at all
i tried to launch the game with several proton versions (5.0-9, 4.11-13, 4.2-9)

Tried 4.2 through 5.0.9 game won't start
Game either sits on "running" in Steam but actually never starts, or in the case of later versions of Proton, Steam status changed to running for a second then stop. No changes on screen and no indication that the game is doing anything.
Runs and drives! :)
Did just work for me, no tinkering required. The game requires quite a beefy machine to play.
I noticed no issues whatsoever Performance is a-ok and gameplay works absolutely fine for me.
The savegame is saved in the proton prefix, so be careful when reinstalling from scratch by deleting the folder.

Playable and enjoyable, but too much (small) issues for a good rating
Some glitchs (e.g. wheels at high speed)
Windowed fullscreen is ok. Taking a screenshot (F11) "resize" the screen, taking an other one make it back to normal
Some keys can't be remap (e. g. the é key on my azerty keyboard)
Framerate between 30 and 60 fps (mostly between 45 and 50)
Game works out of the box, but i have to test it a longer time to say if some bugs appear or not.
Il gioco non parte
As already noted by another user, there were some performance issues, but adding PROTON_USE_WINE3D=1 %command% to the launch options solved the problem
Audio completely missing
No audio with Proton 4.2-9 or 4.11-11
Game might crash every now and then, but this seems to happen to Windows users too
Occasional stuttering. Using a custom Proton version (proton-tkg 4.20) added a few extra fps and removed all the stutter for me.

I had issues with one of the later Proton betas, but 4.11-7 works fine. I suspect it also helped to lower graphics settings (now set to medium) but I'm not sure. No other tweaks currently.

After I used PROTON_USE_WINE3D=1 %command% I managed to get stable FPS at high settings. Recommend this tweak to you all.

The game is affected by an UMIP bug on recent CPUs. To get it running, you need to add "clearcpuid=514" to kernel parameters. While it is an easy workaround, it disables security functionality of recent CPUs. There is a fix in the works by Codeweavers both for the kernel (should be included in 5.4) and Wine/Proton.
I tried both proton version 4.11-3 and 4.2-9 and neither would work, It would just say 'running' for a second on steam, nothing would appear to indicate it even began to start.

4.2.9 works.

Runs but I have low FPS, probably because of CPU

Roll back the Proton Version to 4.2.9, seems to work, and not crash as experienced with 4.11.2

Used to work, and after update to 2020 it fails to run. I haven't tried more tweaks or logging yet.

Using Proton 4.2 the Game just installs and runs perfectly on ULTRA, 60FPS, FXAA enabled, no problems notices :)

Some DLC / Routes crashes every time. Some running well, but most of DLC are CTD!

Works perfectly out of the box since Proton 4.2

Run´s Perfect :) On Ultra settings

Disabled all DLC after my first run. Game worked OK with no crashes, only some graphical glitches.

Game started for the first time with this version and allowed to select a profile. Crashed during loading the first simulation.
