For movement, joystick works great but the dpad is kinda weird. The game plays great with the joystick so its not a problem.

Works great out of the box!
For whatever reason I had issues with graphical settings in the native Linux version. The resolution maxed out super lower and when trying to change it would crash the game and my DE (Cinnamon). Anyway works with no issues whatsoever under proton.

On Steam Deck using the d-pad is WAY to fast. But Joystick works just fine.

(< 1 hour with Proton)Works perfectly.
I originally tried this in Proton because I could not get it to detect player 2 input with the native version. Running it in Proton fixes this issue.
