Flawless OOTB
Installed, pressed play, loaded an old cloud save from Windows 10, completed the game 100%. I suggest capping the framerate to 60 but it's not absolutely necessary.

Used gog galaxy to install drm free .exe file. Imported file into lutris as a other game
Sound seems loud and not dynamic you hear everything on the level at full volume
Managed to get gog version to work through lutris since added it to steam using lutris it works ok

Atempted through Heroic and GOG Galaxy using proton
So I have tried installing the game through Heroic and GOG Galaxy. Using heroic I added just the game file to steam as a non steam game and ran through proton 7, 8 and experimental the best I could get has the colours and textures being messed up making the game inoperable.
The atempt through GOG Galaxy added GOG Galaxy to Steam as a non steam game then installed lego Indy from there and launched it all while in desktop mode. Ended up with the same results

the textures fail to load and i personaly have no clue how to fix it regardeless of os or computer i try it on
iv tryed with debian testing, Ubuntu 23.10, now fedora 39 all textures look like rambow flashing blobs still

Audio buzz during random activities
Occasional out-of-bounds
Works. Not 100% perfect but close
Played at 3840x2160 (4K) resolution, using an Xbox One controller.
I manually set Proton 6.3-8 at some point and never bothered to change it, but I wouldn't expect newer versions of Proton to have any regressions.
OOTB no issues
Did not detect Steam controller.

Controller support is missing
MS xbox 360 wireless controller with MS wireless usb receiver.
Works out of box.
No extra setup needed. DualShock 3 controller works fine (recognized out of the box, if I remember correctly).

setting launch options to "unset LC_ALL && %command%" or game will crash when "new game" is pressed

Crashed when trying to start a new game, and couldn't see existing games. Fixed by setting launch options to "unset LC_ALL && %command%" (like for lego harry potter year 1-4). Now seems to work perfectly.

If you want to play with a Xbox Controller, remove the 2 Xbox Controller in (LegoIndy2-Prefix) wine control (js & event) first @Alexander/CrackedCrafterz

works fine

Runs just as good as Windows, but I recommend the Wii version in Dolphin instead. The Wii version in Dolphin can support 4K resolution and all controllers. The Steam version is limited to 1080p and has limited controller support.
