Native and proton 9
Doesn't work

works wonderful, but I didn't test multiplayer
It just works, at least as far as I tried, wish we could have more games like this

Singleplayer should run fine.
Freezing and crashing in multiplayer. Infrequent enough to be playable
If you launch the game with crossplay, you WILL experience gamebreaking bugs. I could not start a multiplayer game, and I could not join other's multiplayer games. This was not limited to Linux. (I have submitted a bug report to Payload)
Aforementioned crossplay issues.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=90 gamemoderun %command%
the use the pulse latency for a better confort
do not change the LOD in goverlay
use wined3d ise roughly recommended if you don't use steam version like the epic version

Had no real issues, didn't try multiplayer though.

Mostly smooth sailing, just some fullscreen max- minimizing issues when tabing out or quiting the game sometimes.

Stucks on first loading screen. Changing to proton does not help
After some updates it become unplayable
gamemoderun %command%
Native version had some graphical glitches in menu switch to proton

Game is not playable on my system. Hard crashes kwin after a few minutes.
Used to work. Will be submitting a bug report to payload
game-performance %command%

fps drops drastically if too many light sources are in your view
overral performance is much better than on windows

Native build works just as good as Windows
Multiplayer connection is a bit spotty, but that's something related to my own home and not to running this game on Linux.
There is no tinkering, no Proton or Wine needed. It's natural for a Unity game to be easily ported to Linux but as someone who's played both in Win10 and a Debian distro, I can safely say this game has no issue running on the latter. It'll even read cloud save data without any bugs!
sometimes audio is out when the game is launched - might just be my own skill issue

Just use the native version.
gamemoderun %command%
mission didnt load, unsure whether this is from linux though
Didn't start with proton 7. Native build didn't start probably because Im running wayland, maybe with some env tinkering I could get it running.
gamemoderun %command%
tried on native linux version
every now and then black bubbles or so appear, sometimes extends to the whole sky and far away areas. seems to appear random

Must be run on Proton. Either way it's plagued with general bugs and performance issues due to poor development.
Linux native version will glitch into a textureless black void with only UI and HUD elements trailing behind like in WinXP. Unknown trigger.
Having a few moderate sized techs on screen causes significant FPS drop.
Black void issue on linux native.
