limit to 30 FPS, graphics settings to low

I use Proton 9.0-3 and it worked great.

Some lockers can be hard to read
PS4 controller does not work at all.
Can sometimes go as low as 25fps, but generally it's over 35. Still feels nice.

as usual, customized controls, set right trackpad to mouse, and enabled gyro
can be mitigated by turning up UI scale to the max
Seems to run just fine on the deck, at 40fps stable with medium-lowish settings. It looks prety but isn't very demanding.
I played it once on the go, i turned down all graphics settings, and set fps cap to 20. At these settings, I could have played around 5 hours with a single charge, which is fantastic.

7W TDP is a great battery compromise, gives a 40~ FPS; good enough that I completely forgot I had lowered the TDP when playing
Some text is rather small. I have really good eyesight, but for some it may prove a challenge
My Prawn Suit got glitched into a floor and I had to map L4 to F1 and fiddle with reloading the map to work it out; not a Deck problem, but definitely annoying as it took like half an hour altogether
Frame rate is really good, holds a shaky 60 FPS on Medium which I found perfect for me. I'm sure dropping to low could improve it even more. I believe it defaults to 'high' though and I'd definitely recommend bumping it down, the game looks fantastic on Medium and I never felt I was missing out from not having it on High

Easy to get 40fps on higher settings and a couple hours of gameplay, or 4+ hours by lowering TDP and graphics. Runs smooth and no glitches so far, quite stable. I recommend setting "Detail" to medium or low for best performance, though this setting is only available in the main menu, not after loading into a save!
Adjusted deadzones to allow me to keep the cyclops moving in a straight line.
40hz refresh rate
Refresh Rate: 40hz
Max TDP: 10W
Graphics:
Water Quality = Medium
Antialiasing = FXAA Low
Blood, Lens dirt & DoF = On
Motion Blur = Off
Ambient Occlusion = Medium
Screen Space Reflections = Medium
Dithering = Off
Projected Battery Life:
2h50m at 100% charged
Would recommend bringing a charger because this game is hard to put down once you get going.
No issues but expect huge battery drain. Roughly 1-1h30 gameplay. Expected from a massive game. Mostly played this one in docked mode.

Go to Properties... -> Betas and set the games beta channel to experimental. Performance is much better than on the stable branch.
- Limit FPS to 40
- Set game beta channel to experimental
- Low - Medium Graphics
Really great battery life (3hrs) with Steamdeck set to 40 fps, TDP limit 8. In game set controller to "on" and XB360 (not automatic). In graphics options set: antialias quality low. Motion blur off. Ambient occlusion off. Screen-space reflections off. Still looks amazing.
Much nicer than the Switch version (which I played for 100hrs)
I tried to lower the graphics settings to see if performance increased and to see if battery life would improve but no noticable difference was shown. FPS was in the 40s-50s.
The triggers on both sides were read incorrectly, i.e. right trigger was read as left and vice versa.
There was an issue with the game not enabling controller support right away so I had to use the touch screen to navigate to the settings and enable controller support. There was another issue where the right trigger and left where misinterpreted as the other. I didn't adjust anything from the controller schema other than to allow for the back buttons to be used.
Other than that the game ran very smoothly and can be played for about two hour on a full battery as 50% was showing an hour. So not the longest experience on battery but was very enjoyable for the time it was.
