If you download it to the internal SSD memory it does not work, when you install it on the micro SD it works

No online
The online option seems to be broken as I couldn't get it to do anything but crash when launched. As for the offline, since the game is based on the old 2D Fighter Maker engine, it needs japanese locale to be able to launch at all. I used a script from github to achieve this, but the method shouldn't matter as long as you enable it properly. After that though, the game will launch and play fine, although you may need to tweak the default controller layout a little bit, as there's no mapping for pause (Esc).
Tried various Proton/GE versions, nothing worked.
I was bale to install the game but it would not launch
Game did not launch
Finally Works on the new Proton Experimental!
Previously, all the proton versions I tried and even the native just did not launch the game when I pressed play. Recently I tried to run the game on (I believe to be the latest version of) Proton Experimental. The game works flawlessly, controllers, audio, graphics, and everything else. Multiplayer still does not launch, but I am overjoyed to say the game finally works!
Didn't work in all versions of Proton
I tried to run the game in all versions of Proton. None of them worked, but one of them had the quick flashing of a window. I believe that version was 5.16
Это провал
Не запустилась ни как родная, ни через протон. При чём перебрал все варианты. Появляется чёрный экран в углу и слетает
Native and Proton didn't work for me
Native Linux version is nonfunctional, but Windows version via Proton 5.0-7 works well for local play. Online version doesn't launch.
Despite claiming that it works natively in Linux, it didn't even load a game window.
I also tried running using Steam Linux Runtime and Proton, it doesn't work at all.
Runs through Proton 5.X
The "Native" Linux version just completely closes before even starting up. With Proton 5, the game runs completely flawlessly. Didn't even have to install anything else on the prefix for it to run. Played a couple matches and everything seems to be working.
No go
This game is having issues. It doesn't work! And as someone else said, yeah it is a broken WINE port, not an actual native linux thing. It wouldn't matter if it worked, but it doesn't. I have tried forcing Steam Play (Windows version gets installed and it tries to launch but still same results: crash)

After installing the game, I tried to play it. and it would not even load to a menu.
I forced the game to use Proton 3.16-7 Beta. Works without issue.
For this game to work you have to compile the file "libsteam_api.so", which is in the ".steam / steam / steamapps / common / vanguard-princess / bin /" folder to the "/ usr / lib" folder, the game will run normally
Is a broken wine wrapped port
