Worked great for me, the initial cell flashes but it seems to be the light bulb as once you leave it never happens again.

Being sluggish isn't that huge deal with point and click game, but it is certainly annoying.
During the first conversation, I couldn't click anything. After restarting it worked ok.
UI feels sluggish and clicking doesn't always register.
After the first startup, basically a perfect experience.
On first startup, the game will have a weird resolution (only a quarter of the screen). Exiting and reopening it did the trick for me.
Couldn't click anything on first dialog tree, a restart with v-sync off seemed to fix it.
I had to use Proton 4.11-12

runs perfectly, completely played through.
When trying to start it Wine tells me "The game crashed" and references a log file which says "Alcatraz.exe caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) in module Alcatraz.exe at 0023:00479229". I was able to run the GOG version, but it doesn't show texts on some buttons / options, and crashes when I exit it (have to enter Ctrl+Alt+F2 and kill Alcatraz.exe from htop to be able to get back to my desktop)
Sometimes a glitch preventing the inventory from loading will happen, which requires a reload, but other than that it works perfectly.
