MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=4.5 MESA_EXTENSION_MAX_YEAR=2008 DRI_PRIME=1 PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command%
When launching with default Proton I kept getting a General Protection Fault error. Spent hours trying to solve it, before switching to GE-Proton7-20 and it suddenly worked like a charm.
The moha_setup file needs to be renamed as many have pointed out, but that also means you can't change almost any graphical settings without going into the .ini files in the game's directory.
Works great out of the box. The menu has no controller support. You will have to navigate through it with the mouse trackpad
Changed the back grip buttons to crouch.
Changed the screen refresh rate to 40hz and framerate lock to 40fps
PC port was made with KB+M in mind; while hip fire on the lowest sensitivity suffices, aiming (especially sniping) is very finicky
Framerate dips when loading new sections and base jumping out of airplane
The game itself runs well enough at max settings 60 FPS.
PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command%

During cutscenes and certain shader effects, different objects (helmets, guns, NPCs, tanks) would have a flat black texture. I only noticed this during cutscenes and at the beginning of each level, before you leave the C-47.
Would not run on my old weak laptop without the following launch options:
MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=4.5 MESA_EXTENSION_MAX_YEAR=2008 DRI_PRIME=1 PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command%
Works out of the box

"Graphics card not supported" appears on start-up:
Navigate to ./SteamApps/common/Medal Of Honor Airborne/UnrealEngine3/Binaries/ Rename moha_setup.exe (e.g. moha_setup.bak). Start game. Works perfectly fine. After adding PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command% in steam launch parameters the game runs like a charm, solid 60fps.
Works fine out of the box.
Better framerate with D9VK
Game frequently locks up on loading screens, not a big problem since the levels do not have load zones
game only seems to load with proton 4.2-9, anything newer and i couldn't get past the first loading screen

screen is always in 4:3
As I run the game in the discrete GPU, by default turned off, the only way it works fine is setting primus as a bridge on the launch command optirun -b primus %command%. Screen was always in 4:3, not adjusting perfectly, and I had to try different versions of proton, from 5.0-5 to 4.2-9 until it works. Besides this, enjoyable experience.
No issues
Works great on Proton 4.11 out of the box. I wish there were more like these!
Runs smooth, no issues
First 5min it had minor stuttering, but later on it was smooth 60fps experience

The game runs out of the box but with fps drops. After adding PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command% in steam launch parameters the game runs like a charm, solid 60fps.

The first time I started it, it hung on the loading cutscene. After restarting it, the campaign ran perfect.
Unfortunately I couldn't get multiplayer to work. When trying to create an account, it says the "Password" field is missing. I know it's not missing because if I delete a letter in the "Password" field but not in the "Confirm Password" field the error changes to saying the fields don't match. I couldn't log in with my EA account either.

Runs great out of the box, multiplayer and single player mode. It has some fps drop if you compare it with windows version, but the game is totally playable.

Fix for "Graphics card not supported" on startup:
Navigate to ./SteamApps/common/Medal Of Honor Airborne/UnrealEngine3/Binaries/
Rename moha_setup.exe (e.g. moha_setup.bak). Start game. Works perfectly fine.

Installs perfect, did not need any workarounds, performance in game is excellent.

you must add: MESA_EXTENSION_MAX_YEAR=2008 DRI_PRIME=1 work perfectly

perfect.

Video card not supported error

Initially had FPS spikes but stabilized after a few minutes

Works as on windows

Fails to launch PunkBuster service, but game plays perfectly fine (did not test multiplayer)
