Recommend medium settings and capping the framerate at 45 fps for stable performance.

(Heroic Launcher, GOG Release) Runs fine, but Game's icon's color messed up.
Installing Microsoft C++ 2022's DLL
game's exe icon's color pallet gets wrong, look messed up. Not affect gameplay, but very bizzare bug.
and I've never seen a game that gets noy bugged out only .exe's icon at linux

Tried a few wine + proton verions, no luck so far and no descriptive error message.
Installed C++ Runtime 2022

Runs well OTB!
I've played it on windows before and I think that performance is favorable torwards Windows, but nonetheless still enjoable, no issues whatsoever.

added vcrun2022
I installed this with the GOG installer with my default Wine prefix and then added it to Steam. It worked fine through Wine, but to get it to work in Steam, as mentionned by others, Visual C++ had to be installed. I did this by adding the vcrun2022 library using Protontricks. Performance seems a bit slow, but I haven't compared to Windows, so I can't tell if it's a Linux thing. Performs fine on High instead of Ultra with my machine.

Installed Microsoft C++ library.
I have a desktop profile for my controller mapped within Steam Input which caused this game to get confused as to whether it was a controller or mouse & keyboard, so I had to remove that profile to get it working properly.

Used gamemoderun %command%
Rand flawlessly, I just throw gamemode on by default - a great game

On video: Changed Antialiasing to TAA All Options to medium except Textures and Motion Blur on High.
With this I can play on 4k TV on deck with 1600x900 resolution at 40-50fps.
I capped on handheld to 40hz for better battery consumption.
It works so well on both scenarios.
"Run the game" throws a "Fatal error" window. "Run the game (DirectX 12)" starts but freezes on the selection screen.
Runs perfectly fine out of the box, including tutorial videos

No issues at all
Runs perfectly without any tinkering.

The experience on steamdeck is great, I've set the game to low settings mostly, except testures an filtering are set to high.
I recommend setting 45FPS(90Hz) fps cap on steam deck oled for stable frametime and low latency

Works like a charm
Everything working properly :)

works perfectly
everything good!

Looks great at low graphics settings and sips power that way too. I played all the way through at 30 FPS. Use the in-game frame limiter since it results in lower input latency, but I also used the system frame limiter to slightly improve frame-time consistency without any noticeable increase in latency.
It works out of the gate. I played it for an hour or two and no issues so far. Graphics set to high and I get 35-38 FPS.

On steam deck I chose the non directx 12 option. No in game frame cap, set steam to cap at 40 Hz/40 fps, medium settings and 90% resolution scale - no slowdowns so far, looks and plays great through the first story mission.
Works perfectly out of the box, using either DirectX 12 or the default API. Solid 30FPS at Ultra settings and 40FPS when lowered.

a bit laggy with the "3D Rendering" Option all the way to 100
DEMO: launches and plays perfectly fine, had to tweak the ingame settings a bit, but once you got it running smoothly, it's a blast to play, it needs to be responsive to enjoy it though, so if you expierience "input lag" or similar, it's your video settings

Without GE-Proton: Startup Logos and Tutorial Videos won't play

He probado la demo y va bien.
En la demo se me congeló a los 20 minutos
Se congeló al poco. Pero bueno, es una demo reciente y a otros jugadores les pasó algo parecido. Nada que ver con la capa de compatibilidad, al parecer.
