The game runs fine once you're past the new game screen. Gnosia's Steam port isn't the ideal way to play it, but the game itself is great
I had to manually change the window size to Steam's native resolution (1280×800) in the settings.
You also need to change the controls to "Keyboard and mouse" in order to get past the name entering screen if you don't have a bluetooth keyboard. You can switch to the Gamepad controls once you're done entering your name and stats.
Basically Flawless
Making the Right Trackpad behave like a Mouse should allow you to click the name input section. Then you can press Steam + X to call out the keyboard to enter your name.
After entering the game, you may notice button prompts are for keyboard and mouse. Relaunching the game should fix this issue.
The game is easy to read and, once the keyboard issue is overcome, fun to play.
Requires keyboard to name self, touchscreen keyboard extremely finnicky and hard to make work.
Froze for a few moments.
Requires significant workaround to progress past starting screen
The game must launch with the keyboard and mouse controller setting. If you do so, you will be able to use the virtual keyboard to enter your name. If you do not perform this step, using a bluetooth or virtual keyboard will not work and the game cannot progress past the starting screen. Once you enter your name and move on, you can go back and change the controller to the standard setup.
Will need to make quite a bit of tinkering with controller setup to allow text entry in character creation. Should work fine after that.
Unplayable due to not being able to enter a name on start screen
The steam virtual keyboard does not work for name entry, nor did a paired bluetooth keyboard. Without any text entry being recognized, it is impossible to progress beyond the starting menu.
Game works perfectly, except for a tiny problem regarding an input prompt at the first part of the game. It requires manual intervention with a keyboard and mouse. Otherwise it gets stuck and joystick cannot close the prompt.
Used Proton 7.0-5 flatpak community build.
You have to put your name via physical keyboard, virtual one doesnt work. One time only.
lower to minimum - you dont need performance for this game
when you have to input name the steam virtual keyboard does nothing...
Decreased TDP to 6 watts and get 60fps still.
Works perfectly fine out of the box, zero issues whatsoever
Work as intended.
Everything works perfectly fine.
Works fine
Seems to work 1:1 with Windows, bugs included :p
Broken character portraits - fixed by switching to the "closed_beta" branch (password 68387392gnocb).
This is a problem on Windows too apparently
