My previous report was "probably not" but as I moved the shader cache back to the internal drive of my 64GB Steam Deck all the mentioned issues where gone.

Loading screen of doom. Idk maybe it's because I have a 64GB deck and run everything from SDCard. But the loading time is abysmal even for SD Cards. While writing this I am still waiting for the Deck to load what ever happens after you got caught right at the beginning. 10 Minutes already have passed. I guess it got stuck.
Also there is an issue when every now and then the game will get stuck in a black screen upon launching it. Dunno, force quit and restart helps.
Also I feel like there are missing cutscenes as the intro sequence starts right in the middle of a sentence of that guy with the mask right at the beginning and in a short glimpse I could see there was an island before that scene where he talks. Either missing cutscenes or it's because of the loading time.
Also I am not sure if the main menu is supposed to be all silent. No background music and occasional UI sounds. Dunno never played this game before.

Mixed input caused framerate stutters
Subtitles in some scenes were removed from screen too soon. Checkpoint placed my character in the wrong place upon reload, forcing me to restart the chapter.
These issues are likely not caused by proton, but bugs in the game itself.

Only one projector room caused low fps when playing a reel, everything else was smooth
Though overall performance is playable, the game defaults to a high settings preset, I changed to medium where I didn't see much of a quality difference but had a smooth experience overall (except that one single room with the projector when playing a reel)

Using Proton Experimental the videos are now working (both in-game and the menu screen). Also the performance is much better now too than it was with older Proton versions.
The game runs smoothly, specially on the default settings, some minors slow downs, but nothing that can prevent you from playing.
Locked the Steam Deck screen refresh rate to 40hz
Notes text are a bit hard to read if you don't "open" them as screen text.
The game slows down a bit on cutscenes or in heavy loaded parts.
My camera view got locked to the character's feet (literally).
I didn't saw any of the visual glitches reported on previous reports here, maybe they have patched it?
Well, it runs great now!
Game is practically unplayable because of broken videos
Game can be launched and played, but videos essential to the game are not working. Tried also with GE and Experimental and it made no difference.

Text in menus not visible due to missing background
Text in menus not visible due to missing background
The main menu is usable but unfortunately the inventory and skill menu are not due to the missing background making it unplayable.
Main menu, skill menu and inventory all all white because it's background is missing. Skill menu example: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2884307194
