Performs well out of the box with no concerns to note.

Works fine
the big picture overlay was pretty laggy while playing
Run perfectly out of the box

If the device goes to sleep mode while the game's running, the game will crackle and pop. Can be fixed by rebooting the game.
Game runds average 35-40 FPS on LCD.
Works well without problems

Playable start to finish with no problems
Performace was worse compared to Kiwami 2, and no performace tips, like plugging in controllers after launching the game, helped.

Just Works
This game seems to work Out of The Box. Been playing on Ultra Settings and haven't noticed any major or minor issues so far.

40Hz/FPS Limit, Medium/High In-Game Graphics, 12W TDP Limit, 1200MHz GPU Clock, 1024x576 resolution + FSR upscaling.
Game works great on the deck, but the battery life is not too long when left uncapped. With my settings I managed to extend my play session and significantly lower the fan noise at the cost of occasional small stutters in certain areas of Kamurocho.

Game works completely perfectly start to finish.
Played the whole game (about 40 hours) on linux and did a bunch of side content, worked exactly the same as the windows version.

Game works great so far.
Opening steam overlay can rarely cause the game to crash.
Played a bit over 10 hours, and so far I had not noticed any major issues, but my game did crash once or twice when I was trying to open steam overlay (with shift+tab). Other than that the game is working pretty much the same as it would on windows.

Having fullscreen on a lower resolution than what my monitor is bugs out the steam overlay (it doesn't show up when shift+tabbing, but it does pause the game)
The only sad thing is that Puyo Puyo crashes the game.

Puyo Puyo arcade games textures were messed up. Didn't play any other arcade game so i can't say if others have the same issue.
All low settings except textures resolution and model quality on medium with 8x texture filtering at 1080p with 80% render resolution, could get 40-60 fps. Mostly medium settings at 800p 100% render resolution, locked at 45fps. Didn't see any notable frame drops. I got around 2 hours of battery life.

When escaping fullscreen game would break. Switching to borderless window fixed it.
When multiple controllers were connected the camera would be forced to look down. Either had to unplug the controllers or disable them. To disable the controller I used the following command to open wine control:
WINEPREFIX="$HOME/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1388590/pfx/" "$HOME/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Proton\ -\ Experimental/files/bin/wine64" control
This opens a window where the controllers can be disabled. This let's you disable the controller specifically for this game. The prefix directory can be altered to apply it to other games.

gamescope -w 1920 -h 1080 -W 2560 -H 1440 -U -f %command%
I used gamescope to upscale with FSR from 1080p to 1440p. It's NOT required to run the game.
Runs perfectly, but make sure you patch the game to restore the licensed music.
The issues I dealt with on Nvidia, like broken lighting, weren't present on AMD for me with open source drivers.
No issues here
Runs almost perfectly
Occasionally characters will render with darker skin, and there are occasional lighting issues. Not sure if a Proton issue or just with the game in general.
Game struggled to maintain 60fps, probably just my hardware being a bit dated
The newer engine is more taxing on old hardware compared to older Yakuza titles.
Works flawlessly out of the box, including RyuModManager patches, which can be installed through the same prefix in Protontricks
Gamescope 60Hz/30FPS lock
Some text in the pause menu
Intermittent, very mild audio stuttering
Starting Puyo Puyo causes the game to close
For the best graphics/performance compromise, I recommend these settings: 1280x720, VSync off, FPS Unlimited (lock via Gamescope); in Graphics: Starting from the highest settings, use Shadows Quality Medium, Render Scale 90%, Anti-aliasing FXAA, and Depth of Field Off. Locking to 40Hz/40FPS via Gamescope unfortunately does not do much for battery life, but a 60Hz/30FPS lock will result in up to 3 hours of playtime
Text messages in the pause menu is difficult but fine when opening the phone via Left-DPAD
Game crashes when starting Puyo-Puyo
on High at 1280x800 will run over 30fps, but can use 20+ Watts. 30 fps via gamescope, High setting and lowered res. to 960x576 + FSR gives about 3-4h while still looking and playing very good
its easily avoidable, but a typical gamer would expect their game not to crash.
The game crashes when I try to play a game in the sega arcade. Otherwise it runs great
when two joysticks are connected there is a conflict
proton version 6.3.5 does not start proton on version 5.13.6 everything is fine

Proton-6.5-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Using Big Picture Streaming and PS4 DualShocks worked without any issues so nothing in the way of a nice couch experience of Kiryu Kazuma san's stray cats collecting.

6.8-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Was able to play from start to finish OOTB using Proton Eggroll on Ultra Settings.
Works flawless with the current proton version. No issues whatsoever.
I was able to beat the game without any issue whatsoever.
Works great out of the box almost, Using Steam Play of course
Game crashed once on a random spot
