I kept having that popup "Disconnected from server / Your connection to Online Services was lost. Reconnect ?" and kick me out of the multiplayer game few seconds after joining the server. Certainly due to EAC.
Game launches, Lobby starts and runs smooth, multiplayer doesn't work
So the game launches, runs the lobby butter smooth. But when I get into a game. I'm instantly pushed from the server to the lobby, Where I can join back for about 3 minutes. Where after I'm disconnected again.

Game works perfectly fine with great performance but multiplayer is impossible to play since I get disconnected every ~30 seconds.

Easy Anti-Cheat = Easy Fail
Doesn't start up because of Easy Anti-Cheat.
I really wish that (a) people wouldn't cheat (unless everyone is cheating together to have fun and they all know about it) and (b) game devs would stop adding this shit - even if people cheat, that's a community thing to deal with. Anti-cheat -> never gonna work on WINE / Proton ): and they coulda had free Linux support.
Getting disconnected very few minutes from online lobbys

You'll get kicked out of multiplayer matches within seconds.
If you join your friends and stay in the hub, it just works fine. But if you search a multiplayer match or just create a private match, you'll get kicked to the main menu in just seconds. I even disabled crossplay and forwarded the necessary ports on my router.

Becaus Proton 6.3-5 is the lates official release I also tried that. Bud than the game freezes at the start untill I force quit after a view minutes.
To bad :-( I cannot play it.
I tried to play the Beta and needed Proton-6.14-GE-2 on steamlinux to get it to run. I have been in the gamelobby where I can see constantly that the connection to the chatservers is lost and that "we" try to reconnect. I never use a chatserver but was not able to turn the chatserver of. I played the game "RUN" for a view seconds before loosing the connection to the gameserver. After trying to login again someone else had my place and I can only play as a spectator. So the lobby looks fine. Bud the game cannot be played (jet) No! I wil not become an Windows user :-) I also have tried it with older Proton versions but than the screen freezes. And with Proton-6.14-GE-2 only the connections get lost so thats it. To bad :-( I cannot play it.

Non stop server disconnects
The game will install and run, but as soon as you try to join a game, or have other players join you, the game will disconnect from server approximately every 30 seconds. This reeks of EAC interference at this point. I suspect they changed something from the closed beta to the open beta and EAC is now blocking this from running properly when joining other players in a game.
Gets Stuck at Splash Screen

EAC Keeps kicking me
Freezes on start-up on Proton, and gives an Error on GE.
Game will start up using Proton 6.3-5, however it will get stuck on the inital start-up screen and never continue. Attempting to use Proton-6.1-GE-2 results in an error reading "The follwing component(s) are required to run this program: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Runtime"
The game is running just fine, it's still a beta so some bugs might not be due to SteamPlay.
The game launches with Easy Anti Cheat, either it is not enable or this is a new version of EAC that works on Linux?
Correction from my last post, 6.14-GE-2 is what i had to use for the game to launch, Experimental also launches the game but freezes on the main screen.
Does not launch due to Easy Anti Cheat.
Tried 6.3-5, Experimental, and 6.14-GE-2, beware that closed beta for pre-order worked because Easy Anti Cheat was disable, the full game will not work when released.
Normal Proton froze in loading, GE worked. Game uses DXVK and plays well, with normal performance hit caused by Compatibility Layer.

Game doesn't start properly
With the current proton experimental version the was game able to show at least an initial Back4Blood splash screen. But with all the other proton versions which I had (I tested about 5 ones) it stopped working after the Easy Anti Cheat software was done loading.
