Apex Legends works great on linux.
The performance is not as good as the native game but if you tweak your video settings you can get a somewhat stable framerate
Does not launch due to Easy Anti Cheat.
Tried 6.3-5, Experimental, and 6.14-GE-2, beware that closed beta for pre-order worked because Easy Anti Cheat was disable, the full game will not work when released.
The game is running just fine, it's still a beta so some bugs might not be due to SteamPlay.
The game launches with Easy Anti Cheat, either it is not enable or this is a new version of EAC that works on Linux?
Correction from my last post, 6.14-GE-2 is what i had to use for the game to launch, Experimental also launches the game but freezes on the main screen.
Game crashed after pressing play in the main menu
(5fps) on my setup with nothing running in the background and all the graphics settings on low i would not consider this playable.
The game runs at 5 fps even on my setup with all the graphics settings on low and nothing else running in the back ground.
DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
Black Ops III now works with the new Proton Experimental and does not require GE proton to work.
You might have to delete the intro video file for the game to load.
Remote Play Together have issues detecting Controller but once you get it to work it works fine.
Cyberpunk 2077 works great on linux out of the box
If you have a NVIDIA GPU and want to use DLSS to play in 4k make sure you set these launch options
"PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%"
PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command% -nologos
In the games settings set the api to DirectX 12
For me the game would crash constantly after 15 mintues exactly of joining a coop game.
Without GE-Proton the game is missing cut scenes, and will crash every time you lose a game or escape.
The game works perfectly with Proton with no tweaking.
Switching to Proton Experimental fixed the crackling issue.
The game works perfectly without changing anything.
Multiplayer works, its a multiplayer game.
