Running the game great with Proton-6.13-GE-1. I have not tried to do the PvP portion of the game, but it does install Easy Anti-Cheat so I suspect that'll not work at all. The Coop works fantastic though. I've run a number of quick play and campaign missions with no problems at all on Fedora 34.
Non stop server disconnects
The game will install and run, but as soon as you try to join a game, or have other players join you, the game will disconnect from server approximately every 30 seconds. This reeks of EAC interference at this point. I suspect they changed something from the closed beta to the open beta and EAC is now blocking this from running properly when joining other players in a game.

Game refuses to run at better than 20 fps
I tinkered with settings on this game for days. From changing proton versions, to messing with in game graphics settings, and I cannot get this thing to run at better than 20 fps. It's pretty much unplayable, especially if you are in combat. Had to boot a Windows box to play this game unfortunately.
Changing graphical settings tended to crash my game pretty frequently.
The game runs fine. Depending on hardware you'll need to mess with some settings. The game has issues with crashing as of the writing of this report. It's not just a Linux/Proton thing, it crashes frequently with Windows users as well. GE-Proton9* has been as stable as it gets for this game and I crash maybe once or twice in a few hours.
