The persistent stutters really bothered me but most people probably won't mind as much. I'd really appreciate a fix if anyone finds one.
30 FPS cap
Any time the cursor changes shape (e.g. from a finger to a magnifying glass when examining items), there is a brief but noticeable stutter. This occurs frequently throughout the game and I guess it's just something you have to get used to.
If you don't cap the frame rate, there are also steep FPS drops during key action scenes (pretty much anything involving fast moving characters or objects). I would definitely suggest limiting FPS to no higher than 40/45 and dropping textures and shadows to High.
Игра шла идеально и пройдена полностью.
Downoad and play
works fine without issues with proton-7.0.4
nothing to see here, install, run and play at your hearts content
Game runs pretty much perfectly on GE Proton. If using an external gamepad, go to controller settings and set the gamepad to Player 1.
Frame cap to 30 and use FSR 720p upscaled to 1080p on external monitor
Crashed Only Once
Perfect experience
No issue at all. Did start a new run and played it a bit. Great game and great performance rendering it as a native experience!
Cutscenes played incorrectly unless I used experimental
7.0-3 and GE7-20 displayed cutscenes incorrectly. Switch to experimental
Switching to Proton 6.16-GE-1 fixed the issues with video playback, but the game freezes frequently when shooting/fighting monsters.
Random crashes when shooting monsters.
Sadly, the freezes/crashes with monsters is frequent enough to make the game unplayable on Deck...

Video playback is distorted, but nothing that keeps you from playing and enjoying this game!
Strange image colors on menu screen, as if there is an overlay on top.

The game hangs on the loading screen after I leave the first room
Proton 6.20-GE
Works fine with Proton 6.16-GE-1, no modifications are necessary. Strange image colors on menu screen with Proton 6.3-6.

Works out of box.
Proton 4.2-9
Just use https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/6.16-GE-1 and it will run fine.
Runs flawlessly on Proton 6.13-6.
On first boot Steam installed and used Proton 5.0, and during the first cut-scene my entire system froze and I had to do a hardware shutdown. Proton 6.13-6 has worked flawlessly for the first hour of the game.
If you use stock proton you will need to do a fix for video playback. I am using GloriousEggroll 6.16-1 and video works no problem.
Minor graphic glithes in main menu (color calibration layer stays always half visible)
Game crashes in first save room, where you have to pick up important item. Entire system freezes, no way to kill game.
