switch to experimental and add some launching options (for proton to run on dx11) because older versions makes the bloom effect on lighting objects dissappear but other than that it's playable with no major problems
Had to switch to Proton 7.0-6, otherwise the game got stuck in the loading screen after character creation. Slight audio crackling, but that seems to have gone away and may have been caused by the fact that I'm using a 9-year-old 15W dual-core CPU. NOTE: The game has a demo, but it has pretty bad performance which isn't indicative of the full game.

Lowered TDP to 7W, set fps and refresh rate to 50
No matter the TDP there was some rare hitching when loading in new areas, unsure whether it was related to a microsd install but it didn't detract from the experience
In 30 hours of playthrough I had 1 freeze after resuming from sleep, the game played fine for a minute but was softlocked once it tried to load some dialogue. It could also have been just a game bug, as it was the only time I had the issue out of probably 40-50 times using the suspend feature.
A handful of times the game started showing keyboard controls on screen and it didn't switch back to controller prompts. While the controllers still worked in this state, the map would become hard to use as it would center on the location of the mouse cursor. A restart of the game fixed the issue.
Overall I really enjoyed the experience despite the couple of bugs that I've encountered
Would occasionally switch to keyboard controls, which would break the map.
I initially tested the DEMO which had performance problems on my steamdeck and would have big frame fluctuation in town after unlocking the ability to communicate with NPC's.
This is Not reflective of the "Retail/paid version of the game" it have been running flawlessly since purchasing, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Capped FPS and framerate at 40.
Sometime it will show keyboard controls instead of controller controlls, a reboot to the steam deck fixes this.
Runs without an issue
Initial loadtime was longer then i experience on my windows laptop. After initial load, game ran without any issues.
Had to enable proton, but after that, ran without any issues at all.
Set refresh rate/FPS limit to 50. GPU Clock Speed Frequency to 700.
Some minor stuttering when loading into new areas.
This game runs so well on the Deck, no tweaks are really needed. The ones I did use improved battery life by around half an hour to an hour and made the stuttering a little better. The vibrant plugin set at around 130-140 helps a TON too.

Excellent battery life, with optional 40 Hz refresh rate the battery life extended into 7+ hours.
