Game playable with default settings, but will crash when a steam achievement is triggered.
Proton 8.0-5 fixed it for me, Proton GE isn't working (didn't test the other versions).

MS Arial font was required for missing text on buttons in GUI

DXVK_FRAME_RATE=144 %command%
Works very well OOTB. Only issue I've encountered I'm not sure is necessarily even a Linux issue, but it could be: I can't Vsync higher than 60FPS. Even in fullscreen set to 1080p 144FPS in settings, Vsync would limit frames to 60FPS, and leaving Vsync off would leave framerate un-capped (meaning I would spike between 200-400, generating unecessary heat and noise, as well as coil whine on my RX 6000 series GPU). My workaround was to add the above launch option, which acts as a built-in frame limiter in DXVK. There's probably another launch option to force adaptive sync with DXVK that I haven't bothered to look up.
Works fine
Some of the equipment descriptions were hard to read. No option in the game's Settings overlay to modify text size.
Some audio crackling/break-up during the music playback on the game's title screen.
Other than the mildly annoying crackling audio during the title screen music playback and the small text descriptions of the escape pod's equipment, the game plays remarkably well on the Deck. It may be advantageous to create a custom keyboard mapper to manage the handling and positioning of tools easier to manipulate, especially since repair time is of the essence in this game.
All performance and crashes were solved once I disabled the Steam overlay.
Cutscenes did not play, just displayed a pink/purple screen.
Load times seemed a bit long considering the size of the game.
Some stuttering here and there, but no crashes yet.
Overall, the game runs fine. Cutscenes don't really work and theres some stuttering occasionally. Otherwise, it runs perfectly fine.
Seems to work well now
Only tutorial seems to work out of the box at the moment. It is not possible to start a "new game".
Tutorial seems to work, but staring a "new game" in any mode doesn't work (sound stops and then nothing happens, game doesn't start, staying in the menu)
Besides maybe a performance problem it works really well
It is necessary to reduce graphics quality for my hardware
Runs out of the box

Ran without problems before updates
I've tried different versions of proton but it does not launch now at all.
