Game save data did not carry over from PC despite saying it had cloud sync. Had to manually transfer.
The game's VHS filter can look too blurry on the 800p screen, I recommend turning it off for better clarity. Game ran at a near perfect 60, very rarely on beat maps with lots of enemies it dropped to 58 fps very briefly.
it didn't launch at all with default proton but ran fine with proton GE
needed to turn on steam input for dualsense controller
The tutorial has a video which doesn´t play properly and causes lag. I think that causes some story events to be missed. You can normally play other beatmaps though

Lag in certain areas. Should not be happening with a mostly 2D game

It works fantastically out of the box, would recommend.
I always have this problem with proton, I just initiate full screen from my WM and everything works fine.
I would get occasional lag spikes, however I believe that may be due to the VHS shaders being applied and there is an option to turn those off.
Background videos don't work with regular Proton 6.3-7.

Known good on Proton 5.0-10, though other versions should also work fine
When starting, just goes to a black screen.
Also tried with PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%. That results in game starting to load but shutting down before it finished.
Works perfectly out of the box
There are visual effects that may be uncomfortable for some people (relatively high amount of blurring, bloom, and camera movement). You have to complete the tutorial stage to get to the main menu where you can turn these off.
Controller works (Xbox 360 Wired Controller). But limited control options for both keyboard and controller (no full remapping, only presets).
I need this launch option to run the game : PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%.
