Just make sure to select DX12 option and it works great. I was receiving a fatal error on the default launch option.
Completed without issues
Works perfectly fine

VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_2 PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 PROTON_NGX_UPDATER=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11,pipeline_library_app_cache %command%
Tested via Remote Play Together, no issues
RTX on nvidia requires launch options se above.
gamemoderun %command%
Runs fine out of the box.
Just works
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 gamemoderun %command%
The option for Ray Tracing doesn't show supported on my hardware even with the various version of GE, Proton Experimental, putting in the launch option for wind3d11 and wind3d12, I tried running the Top launcher (DX11) and bottom launcher (DX12) and both have no options for ray tracing. Some minor setbacks but the game otherwise runs perfectly
Game runs perfeclty, given my hardware I had to change a few things to get it running smoothly
- I installed feral game mode
- Due to my hardware the 60FPS was too much so I start the game with the following parameters ( note these need feral game mode installed) DXVK_FRAME_RATE=30 gamemoderun %command%
- Once set I could then enable vsync as well and I was suprised but the game run very smooth on this old rig.
Game works properly, except some minor graphical glitches later in the game.
There is some scenes with shadow/texture flickering later in the game.
I'm no longer seeing the controller disconnected issues. There is some minor graphical glitches later in the game, but only in a couple of segments so nothing gamebreaking or too distracting.
Crashes once in a while, but this seems to be an issue on Windows as well
Works Perfectly, Out of the Box
The game collects telemetry data, which you can agree or disagree to send
Works perfectly. Just sometimes has crushes but don't know if it's Proton or the game.
Sometimes the game says "controller not detected", but all works fine. it's annoying when you have to introduce the name of the players (playing with friends in the same Pc)

Plug'n'Play. No tinkering required, worked flawlessly out of the box on max settings.
A pop up appears when opening menus, prompting the user to reconnect the controller. Controller is fully functional though and the message can be ignored.

Worked well out of the box. I have no complaints
The only problem I encountered: The game asks you to reconnect a controller (I did play it with one, so I don't know if you can play it with keyboard only), however once you have one connected it only asks you again whenever you 'exit' the game (e.g. SteamOverlay, Discord Hotkeys etc.). As long as you play with a controller, like I did, it seems to be not a problem. (Further Note: I played with a Friend, he is on Windows and had similar issues).
In menus it keeps showing a prompt "Please reconnect a controller". I don't use a controller or even own one. This did not occur during game play.
One crash doing a Share Story game. Required a restart of the game. The save file was still good. This is likely a bug with the game and not related to Proton.

Not working under any proton version, played on windows VM
Attempted to run this game with default proton, latest GE build (6.19ge2), experimental, 6.3-7, 5.13-6, and 4.11-13. Tried a few tweaks, tried using both launch options (which get cut off on steam so IDK what either one is), all to no avail. Decided to just spin up the virtual machine for this title, hopefully somebody else can figure out what it takes to get it working with proton

Proton GE 6.19-GE-2
Game runs on standard Proton as well, but is unplayable using keyboard and mouse because it keeps asking to reconnect a controller (even if you don't even have one).
