Unity stutter
The game suffers from unity stutter but the steam deck helps hide it.
Run fine

A good little metroidvania, zero glitches in my playthrough.

The opening cutscene was a bit laggy for whatever reason, but other than that the game was perfectly playable.
I just use Proton Experimental by default, so I don't know why that's considered "tinkering" - but whatever.

Cloud saves do work, confirmed with playing my Deck save on my Windows PC

Everything works wonderfully OOTB
In regards to the latest review, I simply used the default Proton version and achievements worked

Other Proton and GE versions I tried worked too but did not unlock achievements for me. With GE-Proton8-3 everything worked fine and I could 100% the game.
Finished game with no issues
Changed the refresh rate to 40hz.
I have about five hours on the PC, and I was hoping to take this on the go. Unfortunately, there are no cloud saves, so I'm out of luck. I'd still recommend it here if you plan to play solely on the Deck.
Haiku takes literally nothing to run.
I have it down to 3 watts on the CPU and the GPU is at 200Mhz, locked at 60 FPS with no issues
The game does not support cloud saves. So you can't jump from desktop to Steam Deck and vice versa easily.

the game lags at very low fps when zooming out the maps / game don't register locked fps but vsync is working well.
idk if it's beacuse of proton or if it is a engine bug, but it looks as if it is running at 20fps even though it's a full 60. cutscenes stutter every 5 second and block for up to 2 seconds.

It took me three attempts to get my PS4 controller working fine, and at one point I randomly couldn't jump (X button only). The latter might have been intentional, I might have been magnetised to the ground because: am robot, but it caught me off guard and fixed itself after a short while.
Frames would fluctuate at times, down to 30fps at worst.
