Low graphics shows significant white seams all over the place.
Steam controllers right pad behaves like mouse even though it's mapped as stick.
By default unplayable. When everything is set to low, I got ~10-15fps.
How to get the game running
I did drop both system and game resolution to 720p, set all graphics to low and fps capped at 30. After that the game is playable with occasional drops to 20fps. Otherwise it runs very poorly (~10-15fps on 1080p, let's not talk about >=1440p). When set to low, game looks trashy but is playable and enjoyable with friends.
Every time I open the weapon workbench the game starts to have more and more artifacts and tearing to the point where I have to restart the game to reset it to a playable state
Overall I've had a good experience. The weapon workbench problem is the only problem I encountered.
Runs about the same as it does on Windows. Slightly more frequent framerate stuttering.

The performance is definitely worse than it is on windows but not enough to prevent it from being enjoyable.

Multiplayer wasn't functional before, it is now.
The multiplayer didn't work no matter which version of proton I tried using and no matter who was hosting.

Tried different Proton versions, 7, 8, experimental, GE. Tried both DX11 and DX12
Completely unplayable at 5120x1440. About 8 FPS at max settings, 16 at the lowest. Even at 1080p it performed poorly. At 1024x768 it ran at 500 FPS.

Works with Proton 7 or Proton Experimental. With Proton 8 game does not start initially.
Unfortunately controls defaulted to keyboard/mouse. Could not launch at all after reboot of Steam Deck
Essentially Perfect (demo)
The first-person perspective and roundy (chunky?) art style remind me of the feeling of Bioshock Infinite. The narrator adds a lot to the momentum.

Installed LAVFilters (https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/)
Videos in game don't play. This includes the opening cut scene as well as the how to videos while playing.
Not sure what it will take to get the videos to play. I have tried multiple versions of proton and have installed the LAVFilters patch with no fix. I will continue to attempt to get a resolution, but no videos is not a game breaking issue so far.
